    I know, it is confusing as all get out but once you get the hang of it, it will be easy as PIE (Psychedelic Igloo Enterprises).

    OK, so here we go:

    Acronym: the initials for something that forms a word or at least something that can be said like a word. NASA. We don't say the letters N-A-S-A, we say it like a word- nasa.

    Initialism: the initials for something that does not form a word but rather where each the letter is said themselves. The now defunct airline TWA we said as letters, T-W-A not as the word or pseudo word "twa". Capiche? Good!

    So what we do is alternate acronym, initialism, acronym, initialism, each time one using the last letter of the last acronym OR initialism that was posted.

    Good try cutz but igotid88 is correct here- SEPTA is said like a word, not as individual letters as in S-E-P-T-A.

    You got the initialism part right Wob but since the acronym PIN was last the post the initialism you want should start with the last letter, "N".

    So let's go with NAACP as our initialism. That's an interesting because besides the letters being spoken it also includes the word "double" as in N-double A-C-P.
