Saw that last night! Too funny to see Jimmy truly psyched to have been there.

The immediate thing that jumps out to me is that there are hundreds of people (at least) without TV shows or movie credits who can relate extremely similar stories or memories of their own. I love this band.
I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love.
Meg Ryan took my Pearl Jam shirt. Pearl Jam announced a show at the Santa Barbara Bowl in 2003. My buddy went to school at UCSB, so he went down and was one of the first few in line at the box office for tickets. I went up after work in LA in the afternoon, and was in line behind him. Some on the board may remember him because he was not a real big fan surrounded by super fans, talking shit for hours till I showed up. Anyways, when we got to the box office window, there was either 2 front row or 4 3rd row together. He bought the 2 front row, I bought the 3rd row pair. I couldn't leave my wife, so I stayed in the 3rd row, he sold his ticket for cheap to a fan. My wife bought me a Ames Bros Pearl Jam shirt which was really cool of her, and a poster which I laughed at(who knew back then). I had a plain white Hanes shirt I wrote Don't Be Shy on, as I had been listening to it a lot from the 2003 boots. I gave it to my buddy since he was going to be on the rail. He then said hey, give me your show shirt I'll try to get it signed and I did. When the show ended, I asked for my shirt and he said he left it on accident. I was pissed because my wife bought it as a gift for me more than anything. I was going to go back and try to look for it, when he finally told me the truth. Meg Ryan was behind him, commented on how much she liked the shirt, and he just gave it to her. Life goes on, but it was pretty fucked up of him to do that. If anyone sees Meg Ryan in an interview wearing a 2003 Santa Barbara Bowl Pearl Jam shirt, it was mine.
