    My friend made this frames for me, since they were odd size posters, and gave them to me today. Nothing special, just a black frame. I didn't see the reason to spend big money on framing either of these posters. IMO, they came out looking pretty good without any matting.

    FINALLY got my Charlotte 1996 poster framed. My first show and a kick-ass poster! Will get another picture when it is actually hanging on the wall.

    Finally going to frame my charlotte '13 poster and curious about a good matte color to use...didn't go back through the whole thread to look at others but does anyone have any Interesting ideas?

    Picked this one up with the the Thomas promo code. First frame I have done myself, cut the mat and used a Hobby Lobby frame. Happy with how it came out. It's a housewarming gift for a friend.

    That cracker jack frame job is awesome!

    As for the Charlotte 2013 poster, That may have to be my next frame job. I have a few ideas but would want to see them in person, at the frame shop, before picking one. The colors would match the colors in the poster:

    - yellow thin mat with green thick mat
    - red thin mat with green thick mat
    - orange thin mat with yellow thick mat

    Would also want to see some variations of the thin mat with the thick mat matching the background of the poster.

    They're cut off on the print, that's how Steve did the print, nothing to do with matting or framing.

    It's a little weird & confusing on the lettering of the names. It doesn't seem to line up right.
    Look at where the names/words are cut off:

    - the "A" in Ament is the 1st letter
    - the "a" in Cameron is the 2nd letter
    - the "c" in McCready is the 3rd letter
    - the "N" in innings is the 3rd letter

    Maybe it's just me. :confused:
