I think people should be able to list what they want on here. Price it at what they want. We don't have to buy it. We should be able to laugh if the price is way out of bounds but I've always thought if you want to buy a concert poster for original cost than pay the airfare, ticket and hotel costs and go to the show and buy it yourself. You think someone asking for $20 for that $2 Rio sticker is ridiculous, well pay the $1,000 airfare plus all the other costs to go buy it yourself.

This person is giving people the opportunity to buy something they couldn't buy in person so that is a good thing.

Yeah, I think we're way beyond people holding to the informal 'rules' around here. The guy wants what he wants for it - does it go against the 'spirit' of the place? Hmm, I'd ask you what is the official 'spirit' of Lost Dogs?

no one asked the seller to buy anything. He bought two maybe more of the posters/ pin / stickers, With the intention to sell for a jacked up price. It happens way to much and is killing the "spirit of the forum!"
A Sticker and a fucking pin should not be worth $20. No matter how old or new they are IMHO.
Every show I go to I try to get a sticker and pin for someone in Europe and send it to them for free. Why? Because she loves her stickers and I dont want her to have to give a best offer for it. And she has another package of Fenway and wrigley stickers/pins coming her way.
OP. I do hope you sell it But try to be reasonable with you asking price.
    Enjoy your week people.

I bought two extra Wrigley II setlists shirts without anyone asking and shipped them for cost to two members last week...that's how it should be.

Everyone jumps on someone when they think the price is too high. How many people here say anything when the price is set too low?
Good luck OP, hope you sell.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

No one here says anything, they are too busy frantically pm'ing the seller to buy said item before someone else does.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

I agree the spirit of Lost Dogs isn't to flip immediately for a big profit. That ship sailed a long time ago though.

So what constitutes a side business then? If that's the case, then we all fit that category.

  • I thoroughly enjoy the dialogue that occurs here when items are sold and the masses don't seem to favor it, but what difference does it make whether it's today or say 5 years from now. Shoot a Benny is now worth what 1k and pj20 billboard goes close to that. But most people didn't complain when those items were sold here for that much right after they dropped amd were not sold at face.

Good luck op. I guess the price shocked me along with a few others after only a day. Like others are saying, we don't have to buy.

Haha I know, but come on. We've had this discussion so many times. It's simple; if you don't like a price or what someone is doing then just ignore it. It's not like I'm killing someone or stealing. I got shit.
