Given your ideology and regular use of sarcasm (not faulting you on that) I thought you were being sarcastic. After all, anything government can do, private business can do better, right?unsung said:
Actually, I'm happy this judge was locked up. I think you have a misconception that I believe people should be kidnapped and thrown in cages because corrupt politicians say so.rgambs said:

How many people have been locked up for the benefit of profit? I'm cautiously optimistic.
Only a few thousand minors in this one case, nothing to see here.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
So you don't care about corruption in general, just the Federal boogeyman.unsung said:Cool, thanks for the link, twice.
Constitutionally it should be handled by the States.
Slavery? You mean the practice that was allowed by the federal government? Thank God government saved us from government.
Nice deflection (again) on the states rights vs. human rights problem.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

Here, let me devote more time to fill your special needs.
I'm against locking up people for profit. I'm against most laws because they end up locking up people for profit. I'm against corruption at any level. Your accusation about not caring about corruption is directed at the wrong person, instead it should be directed at every person that will cast a vote for that POS Clinton.
So please, let's talk about deflection.0 -

But yeah I would take Trump a million times over the criminal Clinton, but I'm not voting for him either because he doesn't push for more liberty.
I'm not voting, I've said it before, none are worthy of my selection, I don't need a ruler, and none promote liberty. Accept it.0 -
I was speaking on your continual evasion of the argument about your ideology that spans nearly every thread you enter with anti-government sentiments.unsung said:It's funny, you claim deflection but I've actually addressed your questions.

You perform the same function here that every libertarian I know performs on the internet.
You claim to have an airtight ideology and you drop catch phrases about ending the Fed and crooked politicians, mention Article 3 section 2, or whatever it is, and then refuse to actually debate your ideology, as though it is beneath you, or perhaps the ideology. You say "muh roads", but you won't (or more likely can't) provide evidence to refute the criticisms laid at your feet. You shout about states' rights, and, again, you won't (or can't) answer simple questions about the consequences of those states' rights.
I know, I know, you don't self-identify as a libertarian anymore, but that's the ideology you espouse, whether you prefer to label it as such or not.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

I don't know what you mean, I don't live in imagination-land, that's the libertarian's purview.unsung said:You can't imagine your life without government, yet you expect me to live my life in the limits of your imagination.

I have to say, I think it's pick your poison; however, let's be honest... Trump? Like seriously... Trump? Yikes."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

But if a loaded gun were put to my head to force me to cast a vote I wouldn't hesitate to vote for him over her. That doesn't mean I like him or endorse him. It just means I'd rather be forced to eat a pound of shit over ten pounds of shit.0

Back when Reagan was running for president I knew a dies in the wool socialist (not a democratic socialist either) who said he was going to vote for Reagan because he said the faster the system crashes the better. Well, see what that got him...."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

The limited approach hasn't been tried. Only reckless, endless spending with unlimited corruption and irresponsibility.rgambs said:

The populace is faced with neverending debt, and the system itself would collapse if people didn't spend spend spend. The monetary supply is fraudulent and big banks can abuse it without consequences. Cycle after cycle has huge bubbles created artificially that always burst.
Participation is forced under threat of being thrown in a cage, that's how all good ideas are implemented.
Yeah, you're right, your version works so well.Post edited by unsung on0 -
This shows a total ignorance of the early history of this nation, and a total naivety about corruption. You talk about cycle after cycle? Under your wild west system the economy nearly collapsed every decade or so, the "fraudulent" money supply and the regulations you oppose were put in place to stabilize an untenable system.unsung said:

Just because you need the threat of imprisonment to induce you to work toward a greater good doesn't mean you should assume the same for everyone else. My family pays taxes proudly and without reservation. We have enough to get by and we aren't greedy libs who whine about how much money (that they have no need of) the government steals from them.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0
