No, I meant the item is under $50 USD in value. I have never been charged duty for items that cost under $50 no matter who the courier has been, but we shall see I guess.

Yes, i meant the law is anything valued over $20 canadian you can get taxed on.
Dang you must be lucky. I've been dinged for $25 item by Fedex. Fingers crossed.

By the book the limit for mail is $20 unless marked as a gift. Gifts have a limit of $60. I find Canada Post lets it slide but couriers wont because they make money on brokerage.

Of the Earth is like nothing I've ever heard them play. It's an epic. I'm not using the word as an adjective, rather a noun. It's the kind of 10 minute jam you would get at a Zeppelin show or something. Different than the longer Porch's these days. It's just something very different and awesome.

Awesome. Period. It's a little quiet, but you can crank it without clipping. It's top notch.

For you Zeppelin aficionados, it reminds me most of like the Song Remains the Same live, or something from the Physical Graffiti era. The only shame, for me, is that I don't get to see it. But you can feel JW blowing through the song. His influence is stark.

I received a letter from fedex Thursday for the duty on the TMR/PJ poster and koozie. After all the fees and taxes the amount due is $44.43 CAD. That's just criminal. Thought it was bad enough I paid $33.44 US freight.

How was it shipped? It looks like the vaults are shipped Fedex to the boarder then Canada Post from what i read on the tracking site.

Shipped by FedEx? Mine was shipped by USPS and I didn't pay a dime for the poster & koozie. There were 2 options of payment. I can't remember which one I went with. The cheapest one or the 10 dollar more one.

Fedex to my door. I did get a automated phone call prior to delivery stating their would be a charge but the amount wasn't disclosed at that time. I had a not so nice surprise when i opened that envelope.

I went with the cheap one. Guess not cheaper in the end. Goes to show I guess. Haha

Listened to this last night. Soooo good. To me it sounds better than about anything I have on vinyl. The people who recorded it, mixed it, mastered it, etc sure knew what they were doing. And so did PJ... of course!
words seem so out of place.

Anyone happen to rip it yet? I haven't toyed with it on my Pro-Ject.

I loved the Ed single- very raw. The whole package is incredibly well done- loved the book too. Very special.

I can't rip on my TT. We need to find someone that can... and knows what they are doing.

Fingers crossed that when a certain person with the last name McCready receives his TMR vault in Seattle that he appreciates all the extras and the packaging done by TMR on this vault and pushes 10c and monkey wrench to start putting out upgraded and more detailed vaults....

Arrived in sunny Scotland today. This is probably the fastest delivered TMR Vault, super early and signed for (they have subsidised the postage). Superb package, I don't usually like the books and stuff that much but the photo book is really good, gold on the sleeve is really good as well. I've been with TMR Vault since day one and although there have been a couple of not so great packages and a few mistakes made (which they always fix) they really know what they are doing and seem to have learned and took things on board each time. 10c could really learn a lot from them, they've just got it so right...right down to putting the pin in an envelope with the point facing away from the record etc. Very impressed.

Welcome!
