So just wondering, what are they doing differently at Wrigley than what they did at Fenway? Anything? Or is there just something about Wrigley that brings way more merch buyers? Or is the staff different and inefficient at the Wrigley booths?

Only having one location is probably the root of the problem. Fenway had 3 locations open.

Oh, only one location?? I didn't realize that. There were 2 or 3 in 2013. Why in the fuck would they do that? How odd.

Here's the thing about Wrigley merch for all you folks that aren't here, being internet quarterbacks...

Yes, it's a long wait. Yesterday I went to the Metro after the Cubs game and the line was about one block long. It was a small side room & they were letting 5 in at a time. I arrived at 5, got in at 7. Everything was in stock except posters and stickers. What I observed when I was there was everyone picking about 3 or 4 shirts in 3 different sizes, holding them up to their bodies, etc. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT SIZE T-SHIRT YOU WEAR?! It's people like this that hold everything up. Then you have people who have no idea what they want. You just waited in line for hours. You know what's available. Make up your damn mind while you wait!

Today was a longer wait but it was well organized. I got most of the stuff I wanted last night - shirt, coozie, button, keychain. Stickers and posters were sold out so that's what I lined up for this morning. Got the subway poster & 2 stickers. 5 hours waiting in line but I got there at 8. Once the tent opened it was about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs and I was thru. First come, first served. 6 or 7 ppl working, with zig zag lines roped off the entire way. The line moved constantly but it was the only place open and there was a shitload of people. It's a long wait but it's not a shit show by any means!

Wrigley isn't as convenient as Fenway. The Cubs were in town thru yesterday & Wrigleyville is one giant construction zone. The Cubs don't own a bunch of local shops like the Red Sox do at Fenway. There's no need to compare Wrigley to Fenway. They're different animals. Prepare to wait, make friends, get your stuff, and enjoy the shows.

Have fun in line. I'll sit here and drink this local craft beer and eat this Lou Malnati's pizza instead

    That is a solid choice.

Any pipeworks, 3 floyds, revolution in draft?

For those craft brew lovers with some time to kill this weekend, try checking out 3 Floyd's overy in Munster, IN. #1 brewery in the world according to some.

Been a while since I bought a T-shirt at a show. The sizes still run a little bit large? Meaning I'd nomally buy a large but would be better off in an XL?
everybody wants the most they can possibly get

3 floyds is awesome and right off the highway. Food is great. They spin vinyl at the bar (albeit Norwegian black metal) and of course beer is fantastic. Zombie dust is the jam.

Love me some Zombie Dust. They got rid of the brisket tacos which is borderline heartbreaking...but they still have the best fries in the land.

5 hours waiting in line, in some cases two days in a row. Holy fuck. Well, good on you folks, you are much more patient than I am, and I thought I was pretty patient. Can't say I get it, but whatever floats your boat.

I won't be waiting that long, hoping the lines are shorter inside or get shorter as the weekend moves along.
