OK, so I'm not looking to just give them away. I actually like them and they have sentimental value. So if it came down to a random drawing where some "lucky winner" gets the shirts I've held onto for 24 years, no thanks. I get they were never really "mine" to begin with, but if I'm going to bid them adieu, I'd it to be in a slightly more meaningful way than "Wow, cool, the Ten Club wheel of fortune landed on "Deepismyfavoritesong2009."" ... I emailed tenclub and we'll see what they have to say. Thx for all the feedback!!on2legs said:How about as the next monthly contest... Win the shirts!

Loved me some speed in early elementary school back in the late 70s when I used to run home from the bus stop to catch it on TV around 3:30pm or so. That damn Chim Chim though2-feign-reluctance said:

Well... Since it's the property of the band shouldn't they get to decide what happens to it?beljrivers@gmail.com said:

I think it's been far to long to validate who's tshirts they really were unless Ed can look at the tag on the shirt and remember what Tshirt he was wearing 25 years ago:) if they are really theyre shirts then yes that is pretty cool
But I honestly think there is no way to really know. It's Possible the James brown Tshirt would be easiest to authenticate ownership. Just my opinion:)Pjdreamer0 -
I guess if I knew the band was behind the effort/idea, I'd be up for whatever. And I do get a kick out of some of these self-righteous posts, as I'm certain that, given the circumstances, all of you would have walked past that truck and left those shirts where they were. I was 21 and singing in a band that was already covering PJ, and had just walked out of a show that I knew was something to be remembered. A show that, on paper, shouldn't even have happened. I mean these guys weren't ready to sell out stadiums yet, but they were certainly bigger than a dank little (former) gymnasium in Lowell, MA. The show was sold out (I think 500 tickets sold) but I had a friend who was working security who got me in the door. Eddie was everything you see in those early videos (and still is) - fiery, passionate, angst-ridden, and prone to jumping into the crowd, which he did a handful of times, once right over my head. We walked down the stairs and they were loading up a bunch of stuff into this box truck and I saw this ball of stuff sitting on the edge. Had it been anything truly valuable I wouldn't even have considered it, but owning those T-shirts was a no-brainer for me. Now put yourself outside the stadium of your most recent show. You're walking along and there behind the tour bus is a plaid shirt with the sleeves cut off - it's all too familiar, as you just saw one of your idols wearing it on stage. Hmmmmmm ...on2legs said:Well... Since it's the property of the band shouldn't they get to decide what happens to it?

You're right Dreamer, and without the JB T, I wouldn't even bother with all this. But I think that it's unique enough that one of the guys will remember it and we'll be one step closer to authentication.Pjdreamer said:I think it's been far to long to validate who's tshirts they really were unless Ed can look at the tag on the shirt and remember what Tshirt he was wearing 25 years ago:) if they are really theyre shirts then yes that is pretty cool

I don't think that is Eddie's MTV Unplugged shirt..it was more of a army green almost brownish..I think he wrote No Bush 1992 on it during SNL..but can't say for sure.Bridge Benefit 1994, San Francisco 1995, San Diego 1995 1 & 2, Missoula 1998, Los Angeles 2000, San Diego 2000, Eddie Vedder/Beck 2/26/2002, Santa Barbara 2003, Irvine 2003, San Diego 2003, Vancouver 2005, Gorge 2005, San Diego 2006, Los Angeles 2006 1 & 2, Santa Barbara 2006, Eddie Vedder 4/10/08, Eddie Vedder 4/12/08, Eddie Vedder 4/15/08, 7/12/2008, SF 8/28/09, LA 9/30/09, LA 10/1/09, LA 10/06/09, LA 10/07/09, San Diego 10/09/09, Eddie Vedder 7/6/2011, Eddie Vedder 7/8/2011, PJ20 9/3/2011, PJ20 9/4/2011, Vancouver 9/25/2011, San Diego 11/21/13, LA 11/24/13, Ohana 9/25/21, Ohana 9/26/21, Ohana 10/1/21, EV 2/17/22, LA Forum 5/6/22, LA Forum 5/7/22, EV 10/1/22, EV 9/30/230

I would love some pearl jammies. prefereably with the trap door in the back so I don't have to take them off in the middle of the night after too much whiskey and taco bell.beljrivers said:

You should contact Kevin at 10c, he is the one that used all of his stuff in recent deep magazine. His email is probably Kevin@tenclub or Kevins@tenclub0

The shirt I have looks much darker in the pic than it actually is. In real life it is the same brownish clay color as you see in in all the old pictures and videos. Fact is, Eddie probably had A BUNCH of these over the years, as evident in video/images from Unplugged, SNL, Even flow video, Pinkpop, Rolling Stone, etc. So I guess I should rephrase the "strong possibility" part of my initial post. Fact is, the is a possibility Eddie wore this shirt for Unplugged and/or Even Flow, and who knows what else, but it's also possible he had 25 of these shirts and the one I have is just another of the many. BTW, SNL and Pinkpop both took place after April 6, 1992 so he definitely wasn't wearing it for those events.PJammer4life said:I don't think that is Eddie's MTV Unplugged shirt..it was more of a army green almost brownish..I think he wrote No Bush 1992 on it during SNL..but can't say for sure.

Not for nothing EV wears the same clothes thru out then whole tour even back to back nights. So it wouldn't surprise me if this is the same shirt he wore in unplugged.
I mean how many times has he wore that Clemente t shirt already?09.11.98, 08.24.00, 08.25.00, 04.30.03, 07.08.03, 07.08.03, 09.15.05, 09.16.05, 09.19.05, 09.30.05, 10.01.05, 05.12.06, 05.13.06, 05.25.06, 05.27.06, 05.28.06, 06.01.06, 06.03.06, 06.19.08, 06.20.08, 06.22.08, 06.24.08, 06.25.08, 06.27.08, 06.28.08, 06.30.08, 07.01.08, 08.05.08, 08.07.08, 10.27.09, 10.30.09, 10.31.09, 05.18.10, 05.20.10, 05.21.10, 10.15.13, 10.18.13, 10,19,13, 9.23.15, 9.26.15, 04.28.16, 04.29.16, 05.01.16, 05.02.16, 05.06.22, 05.07.22, 09.14.220 -

Nope not MTV (that would be even better of course), just the show @ UMass Lowell that we attended. Still pretty great though.0
