    i would oneday enjoy myself a straight razor shave by a barber ... if i could locate one that still does that kind of thing anyway. i do not remember when i did not wear this beard. often i want to chop it completely off but never follow through.

    grooming scissors... these ears, eyebrows & nose of mine are getting carried away just a bit these days. unreal how my eyebrows are housing the old man big thick crazy loner hairs these days.

    In the documentary "Riding the Rails" (which is about these young people, many of them, during the Great Depression who went all over the country hopping trains- really good movie!) there is one scene that talks about how in some of the hobo camps the regulars kept a mirror hung on a tree with a blade-less razor. The rail hoppers passing through would keep their own razor blade in their wallet to put in the razor itself while they were staying in that particular camp. I thought that was cool.
