I don't think pedophiles lives matter. Or child abusers lives matter.

I think the entire X lives matter movement has jumped the shark and should be retired.

My choice is what I choose to do
And if I'm causing no harm
    It shouldn't bother you
Your choice is who you choose to be
And if your causin' no harm
    Then you're alright with me

Well I'm certainly not a fan, that's for sure. But I mean beyond that. If we believed and acted as if all life matters maybe these horrid acts wouldn't happen. If we respected all life, maybe we wouldn't have the social and environmental problems we have.

If you look at life from a biological viewpoint and consider the interconnection of all life you might come to one of two conclusions: either all life matters or you have no respect for life at all. All species are interdependent. That is one of the hard and fast laws of ecology (the science, not the fad).

    I third this.
If only the stalwart contrarians on this train would pull their head up for awhile they would agree also.

Oh, believe me, SD, I get it! Mosquitoes are number one on my list of least favorite life forms. On the other hand, if your a member of certain families of fish, birds, dragonflies and damselflies, mosquitoes are delightful. Most of us would agree fish, birds, dragonflies and damselflies are wonderful creatures. Life does present its conundrums, for sure!

    E. coli are a large and diverse group of bacteria, most of which are quite harmless but there is one strain that might be difficult to accept as useful: the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli- that nasty little bacteria that causes so much grief! But maybe it's just that we haven't learned to have a constructive dialog with that Verocytotoxin-producing enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli. I'll get right on that!

No matter your political views or religion, I believe that we should all love and respect each other as human beings. The world is crazy right now. All the violence has to stop.

Whenever I see clips of BLM protesters filling streets, I see them get in the faces of whites and scream that black lives matter. Doesn't sound too peaceful to me. They're right though. Black lives do matter. But as far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't be focused on one particular race's lives mattering. We should all be looking out for each other and making sure that we aren't just simply protesting injustices in society. If you think something isn't right, take action. And taking action doesn't mean killing.

p.s. I know that this thread has gotten a little humorous, but I thought I'd give my take on the subject. Peace. :peace:
