All Life Matters

At least I believe that. Not just all black lives or white lives or blue live or all people or all dogs or all cats but all life. All life matters.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

I think the entire X lives matter movement has jumped the shark and should be retired.
we will find a way, we will find our place
And if I'm causing no harm
It shouldn't bother you
Your choice is who you choose to be
And if your causin' no harm
Then you're alright with me
If you look at life from a biological viewpoint and consider the interconnection of all life you might come to one of two conclusions: either all life matters or you have no respect for life at all. All species are interdependent. That is one of the hard and fast laws of ecology (the science, not the fad).

If only the stalwart contrarians on this train would pull their head up for awhile they would agree also.
E. coli are a large and diverse group of bacteria, most of which are quite harmless but there is one strain that might be difficult to accept as useful: the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli- that nasty little bacteria that causes so much grief! But maybe it's just that we haven't learned to have a constructive dialog with that Verocytotoxin-producing enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli. I'll get right on that!
Whenever I see clips of BLM protesters filling streets, I see them get in the faces of whites and scream that black lives matter. Doesn't sound too peaceful to me. They're right though. Black lives do matter. But as far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't be focused on one particular race's lives mattering. We should all be looking out for each other and making sure that we aren't just simply protesting injustices in society. If you think something isn't right, take action. And taking action doesn't mean killing.
p.s. I know that this thread has gotten a little humorous, but I thought I'd give my take on the subject. Peace.

Symmetry.
Thank you
All for the expanded all life matters theme, I realize there are forms of life that kill and get killed, even if simply by accidentally walking on a caterpillar or scratching an eyebrow an annihilating a couple thousand mites. I'm certainly not one of those who would never kill a mosquito or a tick at the risk of contacting malaria or Lyme disease. What I am suggesting is that we might want to keep in mind that all of the species within any biotic community (interacting organisms living together in a habitat) are interdependent and much of what we do can affect what is required to keep that community stable and balanced. When the balance is upset (and yes, this does occur naturally at times) any one of the species can become endangered, including homo sapiens. And since we have far greater ability than any other species to affect our biotic community, it might be wise to consider how very important all of our fellow species are and do what we can to prevent their and/or our premature demise through our negligence.
