It's a toss up between The Ballad of Boogie Christ Acts 1 and 2 by Joseph Arthur and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins.

MC has some of my favourite tracks on it. Of any band, any album. But my god, some of it is just total filler, and indistinguishible from the rest. in my opinion, take all that extra out, make it a single album, you have one of the greatest albums of all time.
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer

NIN - The Fragile would be my choice for favorite.
Mellon Collie is mostly terrible...never understood the love for that album.

I've heard people say this, but I wholeheartedly disagree. I enjoy every single track on that album, it all flows perfectly, and I don't think there is a second of filler on it.

I'll throw in Don Juan's Reckless Daughter by Joni. I've always loved that album. But Physical Graffiti takes the cake on this one.
