    Well, I guess I don't have to bother catching up on season 1 then.

    Mildly surprising, I was surprised to see it picked up so quickly after the premiere.
    I can definitely understand why it wasn't extended.

    Usually when a show premieres. It's already picked up. So unless the show premieres to really low numbers. It'll air the full season most of the time. Especially cable shows. Network shows usually have 13 episode orders and if it does well the network will order the extra 9 or so for the full season.
