Is it worth getting the VIP Parking in Mansfield? Does it ensure a quicker exit?

Never paid for it... but traffic getting out of Mansfield is the worst!

If you are a fan club member picking up tickets, make sure that lot opens as early as the regular lot. I seem to recall reading that it may not be open as early as the free parking and if you are going early to pick up your tix and tailgate, you might not be able to get into that lot anyway.

Again.. just a hunch, but check it out before you buy. I have read reviews though that say you get out of that lot very quickly

ya be ready to shell out some loot for vip parking. only one time did i get out of the regular parking lot really fast but every other time it's taken hours. Best thing to do is drink a few beers, eat some food, walk around and talk to other pearl jam fans doing the same thing, then be on your way.

fuck that just go to a pay lot before you get into Great Woods. They cost $20 and you can smoke drink grill and just chill and no cops. fuck the vip its $40 i think. if you dont pay to park it will take a few hours to get out of the lots

I'm usually there a few times a year and always pay for the VIP parking...just split it with whoever else is with me. Not only do you get out much faster, but you're not jockeying for position and fighting your way into lanes. I almost wouldn't mind waiting a long time to get out if there was some order to it.

any thoughts from the "locals" (more likely someone from the surrounding area) on where i should be looking to book a hotel room from the Mansfield shows? will likely venture into Boston on the 29th between shows so somewhere in between perhaps, i was thinking? any suggestions are appreciated,...

p.s. is the option of leaving the car a few miles from the venue and taking a cab a reasonable/realistic/recommended one?
