    Have forum posts like these ever gained traction with the band's management? Is it futile? This is a fantastic idea and would make the experience much more enjoyable/seamless. I refuse to wait in a 4 hour line for Wrigley 2. Would rather enjoy the City/atmosphere.

    Most likely futile but still fun to believe that it could come to fruition. I'm not going to hold my breath just like I'm not going to wait in a four hour line for schwag in the sun.

    This is a good point. The band will make boatloads of cash either way. Why not help more of your fans enjoy their weekend in Chicago?

    Doing for a whole tour, guaranteed S%!t show, I get it. But special events such as Wrigley, presale all sales final for only open for a week, makes too much sense. They either have or know how much merch they are ordering. Place the order, run the presale early enough to see how the #s shake out and then go about the same merch process they have used for the past two years. C
    Challenge is the # of posters they plan to do for the shows. I still say to make it easy, one package, one per ten club member. Pleae take our $$$.

    I love this idea....I['ll be there Sat through Tuesday and I'd love to be able so spend as much time as possible soaking up Chicago vs soaking up vendor lines.

    I think the only reason they wouldn't do this is because of all the bitching from fans the last time.
    hopefully after the terrible merch lines of the last two years people will be happy with the poster they get if they do this presale.

    Yep. for the 2 Chicago 2009 shows. I took advantage of it and it was fantastic.
    don't understand all of the bitching that apparently happened on the boards at that time.
    I have heard that people were upset with the "quality of the art" or whatever.

    Exactly bug . . . That's what I am trying to get everybody on board with. No bitching, no whining, no customizing the stadium merch/poster pack. We are a spoiled bunch . . . We promise we'll be good.

    The show isn't tomorrow, so it is definitely not too late. 10c, have I told you how beautiful you are today?

    Merch lines have become crazy masses of humanity. It's nice to hang out and meet people when you are waiting in line, especially when you are with Derby Dave who knows EVERYONE! (Right, Matt?) But, it would be even greater if we could pre-order, NOT BITCH and enjoy some food and good times with our friends.
