    I'm afraid about the areas unprotected. If you rolled with it, double pane would be your better option. You still have unprotected edges, but that would be a lot less than having a full open back. You can see that better in the diagram that they provide.

    Foxy, If you buy those acrylic frames, know that you need to use an acrylic cleaner to clean them. No paper towels. No window cleaner. Acrylic scratches very easily. A soft cloth/old t-shirt would work well.

    I just can't imagine a frame like that would damage anything
