I'm seeing a lot of small cigar suggestions which reminds me of one of my favorites, the Blacks Djarum clove cigars. Anybody try these?

It's been a long time since I've smoked a cigar. Last one I had was a Montecristo (I think it was a No. 4, but like I said it's been a while). I enjoyed it along with a nice bourbon.

I've heard that Opus X are really good, but not having tried it, I can't say for certain.

Ashton is probably my favorite. I like the connecticut wrapper as opposed to the maduro. Lighter and more pleasant flavor.

Macanudo and Montecristo make good cigars too. Ring size and length need to be considered based on how much time you have to smoke it. Rushing a cigar is the worst thing you can do for it.

There are also some really good bourbon soaked cigars out there. If you have a shop in your area ask them. Lots of times you can find really nice cigars for a couple bucks a piece instead of paying a lot more. My cigar shop has a $2.00 humidor and I've found lots of good cigars in there.

Bourbon smoked cigars?? That sounds intriguing. I'll be sure to ask my shop!

    Thanks!

Cohiba makes the best tasting Cigars. I really liked the Cuban Behike. Of course those are a little difficult to get here, but if you can try them. I've had a few Cubans and that was the best.

I also enjoy Macanudo. That is my go to if I don't want to spend the extra on a Cohiba.

Dunhill is decent. Monte Cristo is good too.

Don't care for the Acid cigars. Stay away.

You can order Royal Barbados Cigars. They can deliver them to you. Cuban leaf and Cuban tobacco hand rolled in Barbados so it bypasses the laws. Really good cigars.

Cohiba and Dunhill are excellent cigars Chris. I knew there were a few I was forgetting. OP, the bourbon cigar I have right now is bourbon seasoned with Maker's Mark. Comes in a glass tube with the red wax sealing it.

The wrap is black with the number 650 on it with a red label that says Maker's Mark on it.

My go-to brands are usually ACID (Blondie, Kuba Kuba, & Deep Dish are my faves) and Rocky Patel (03 Cameroon, Catch 22, & 92 Vintage).

back when i smoked, every once in awhile i'd smoke al capone cigars. nothing high end, just nice tasting rum or cognac dipped cigars. they're the size of cigarettes. trout fishing on ice or from the bank in a light rain brought out cigars ...
