I'd like to but I'm not sure if I'll be able to go at the moment. My schedule's a bit complicated during the week for the time being but if I'm able to find a way to leave mid afternoon, I'll definitely do it. I like that you don't have to pre-order the album until the day of the show, saving a drive. Took my chance earlier this week with Amoeba's Radiohead 7" lottery with album pre-order (no luck) so if I went to BOH, I'd probably wait until both of those albums come out so that I can pick them both up at once. Would love to see them do another acoustic set so I'm definitely going to try.derbydave said:

Looks like their singles aren't taking off for this album? Have they dissapeared from the mainstream radar?"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

I'd say yeah I'm sure they are not bothered by that though , they never will be mainstream but to me that is a good thing !!Spiritual_Chaos said:Looks like their singles aren't taking off for this album? Have they dissapeared from the mainstream radar?

Really enjoyed the show, and Wilmington in general, last night. I thought the new stuff sounded great and looking forward the new album. Only bummer is looks like they skipped Ode to LRC and Marry song in the encore. Nice poster too.
Anyone have a close up look at that mess up front? Ben was obviously pissed but I didn't see what happened.0 -
yeah i was there, second row. Apparently one dude took his whiskey bottle or something and also insulted Ben. Yeah he was pissed. Security took him away and i heard there was a fight, but i couldn't see that. Other than that incident, it was an awesome show! Cool venue though. People didn't know what to make of it i guess. During the first four songs (all "new" songs) people sat in their seat. then islands came on and two guys went up to the stage and then a whole bunch followed after that. 8 songs off their upcoming album (ok i got most of them on tape,sweetlew33 said:Really enjoyed the show, and Wilmington in general, last night. That was another thing i wasn't sure what their camera policy was cause there was a sign that said no cameras or videos outside the door. So i was being careful when taping and not trying to be "that guy". But they didn't care i guess. Poster was cool. Only other thing that sucked was there was a 10:00 curfew so they only played for an hour and a half.

Anyone have a close up look at that mess up front? Ben was obviously pissed but I didn't see what happened.
More specifically, there were like 6 tweaked out, meth heads, that looked like they were straight out of the first season of True Detective. Two of them were real aggressive and had no issue saying whatever they wanted to Ben.
About 2 songs after Islands, I didn't hear what the one guy said but Ben said "fuck you for saying that. You motherfucker. If we weren't here right now I'd fucking cut you" and he flipped the guy off. Then the next song was a slow one and the one guy was like yelling and waving to his friend to come up front (Ben would reference this later).
Then the next song, the guy took Bens solo cup of whiskey and fucking drank from it and passed it around to his friends and then put it back on stage. Ben didn't see it the first time (and I didn't realize it was Bens drink either). During the next song, the guy takes it again and passes it around to his friends and Ben sees him. After the song Ben flips out of him saying "why are u touching my shit? Fuck you. Don't take my shit" and he flips him off again, and threatens the guy again. He calls the guy disrespectful for talking during the slow song too. The guy didn't seem like it mattered that he disrespected Ben or the band and his reaction was basically laughing which pissed off Ben more. Ben gave the high sign to a crew member back stage that he wanted the guy moved.
Security came and kicked 4 out of the 6-7 guys out. Took security a while to get down there and I didn't see if there was a fight as they were being escorted out but Ben did say "hey you don't have to kick them out, they paid good money to be here". Shows you what a good natured, good hearted person he truly is.
My question is, why go see a band, which doesn't need to play a 1000 seat venue, where you can pretty much b 5-10 feet from the band, and be a complete disrespectful asshole? Why go to the show to yell and scream stupid shit? Just b cool and realize that the show is in a beautiful venue, and next time around they'll probably b at a much larger place like Electric Factory, or Union Transfer.
Bunch of backwoods, redneck losers. I hate name calling but I feel it's justified here.
I don't live in Delaware. I'm from Dirty Jersey and even I'm embarrassed for Delaware
**side note***
It wasn't general admission but people rushed the stage and filled up between the stage and the first row. I had first row center seats but they became like 4-5th row once people made their own general admission. I didn't mind but it did get annoying once I was pretty much left with no room and a 6'4" guy in front of me and my wife.
I should say that the show was great and otherwise had a great time. A little surprised at the shortness of the set but I think PJ has just spoiled me and I expect long sets from everyone!Post edited by pledgeagrievance on0
