Truth! I remember watching that moment transpire from the pit and getting teary eyed. A special moment.

does anyone know that fan's story? Someone mentioned at the show there were a section of veterans but I don't know if that is just speculation.

He sent me a very nice email and stated he might share his story. It was very emotional in that area. So glad he got that experience.

thanks Jmug. Don't have to know now. Just glad he was given that moment by Ed.

hoping Ed remembers Charleston AME tonight. Would be a powerful moment of unity.

Still on a high from the greatest PJ show I've ever been to. It was show 17 for me, and I brought my daughter along for her 11th birthday and 1st show. She got a pic from Mike, which was awesome and Vs. front to back??? Insane. Thank you to the band for an awesome show, 10club for the best seats I've had - 1st row behind the pit - and to an incredible crowd. See you all in Cola Thursday. I checked last night's setlist in VA - still no Chloe Dancer this tour....

Your daughter is a trooper and that was a he'll of a show! Nice to meet you!

What a show. Vs was the album playing when my boy was born and then he is there to hear them play the whole album on his first birthday??? What are the chances!!?? Of course, he doesn't know anything about it, but someday he will!

The set list and energy were off the charts in Greenville, only the Euro shows I have seen, Vienna in particular, can compare to the magic they conjured on this night.

I'm going to have to give the edge to Greenville over Columbia but not by much. Two completely different shows with the fast opener/chill opener. Tough to match the crowd energy during Vs in full. Some great rarities that made the show for me in Columbia though(Light Years/I Got Shit/Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns/Footsteps. Can't fucking wait til next time.

I went to the Lexington show. Amazing setlist, amazing crowd, and the band was in the best spirits that I have seen them in, in forever. But man, nothing will match the feeling of Greenville and getting VS. Was just so special to have been there and witness that. Still in awe.

I went to both Greenville and Lexington, and I'll agree.

For me, personally, Lexington was pretty incredible getting Deep (1st time since my first show - Soldier Field '95) and Satan's Bed (white whale) back to back so early in the main set. I nearly lost a full beer when the latter began. And the energy, and tightness of the band throughout made this a standout show for me.

However, Greenville edges it out. Just barely. Mainly because of the crowd and the vibe that entire day. Getting Vs. is what lifts it into that special category of shows. But I was in Milwaukee for Yield too and I'd say Greenville topped it. Both encores in Greenville were great. I love that they're covering Comfortably Numb. And getting Breath is always a special treat (if Eddie remembers the lyrics.) Having it being a Saturday and the band having 2 days off before, no doubt, helped too. Both band and crowd were revved up from the start. You know you're in for something when both Jeff, and Stone are jumping from the get-go. Personally, being at the pre-party enhanced the experience too. The anticipation was off the hook. I had a good time at HopCats in Lexington but the Ale House in Greenville was 10x the better host for that.

I wish! Hopefully they will release the boot after the Fla. shows. Wanted to record but was carried away and didn't want to mess with phone or camera. trying to be patient....
