    I will go out on a limb and say that anyone who has in their possession a sealed copy and not an open one is not a real fan.

    If re-releasing these records means this thread will disappear, I'm all for it. The other option for fans is to buy the CD - it's the same music :)

    Have the CD...would like it on vinyl. Yes, it is the same music, but vinyl has a warmer "feel" to it, and you can pick up nuances that don't necessarily come through on the CD version. It would be similar to saying a photograph of a painting is the same as the painting itself.
