We CD buyers should get download codes. We're just gonna import them onto our computers anyway, but we don't get the instant gratification like digitial buyers. And no, before anyone says it, I'm not paying twice for the same thing.

I still don't get why people pay extra and wait for physical copies when it's the same audio as the FLAC downloads, just burned to a disc.

I wonder too sometimes if I should just get the download only. I always buy the CDs for the shows I attend and just the download for the the shows I didn't attend. The only exception will be Toronto 1. Because, you know, Binaural.

I agree, and when/if something happens to your CD. You still have the FLAC files on a external HD.

I don't know why people don't pay the couple bucks extra to have the physical back up to their shows. In 2 weeks the wait will be meaningless and you don't have to worry about your system crashing, backing up, buying more space, etc.

    Eh. To each their own.

I have a thousand or more CDs and maybe 2 of them are damaged to the point of unplayable and if I wanted I could go to a record store and probably find a used replacement cheap. Not sure how much space that would take up on a drive, but I'm pretty sure I'd need 2 versions of that space to ensure a back up and it would not be small.

Because it's burned to the exact same TY archival CD-R I can buy by the cakebox, if I were inclined to continue wasting time backing up data in slow, 600MB, degradable chunks?

True. That's fine. Like I said to each his own. I actually do understand it. I was being facetious.

    I don't understand when people don't understand.

Not sure if you used your bootleg code that comes with your membership but you can get the digital copy for free if you didn't use your code yet. Go to the " my account" tab and then "my membership" tab and there should be a bootleg discount code, enter that at checkout and the digital MP3 is free!
