Cool they added the "Poncier" tracks - first time those are getting a proper release. That EP is impossible to find. I've actually only seen a picture of it from a guy who had an immense Soundgarden collection.

he's ahuge dick. however, best song on the record! "All of those yesterdays Coming around"
hhmmmm?
I don't know if he can refuse to put the original on the reissue. Singles had the rights to it. I read that they wanted a demo version for the second disc, and he passed because of some childish reason.
Per Alternative Nation, Corgan took part in a fan VIP Q&A in Atlanta when the soundtrack got brought up, and he had a bone to pick with Epic Records who put the kybosh on the Smashing Pumpkins single “Drown” and pushed the Alice In Chains track “Would,” despite “Drown” gaining popularity on radio:
“That’s classic record company, you would think: ‘Hey, you’ve got this soundtrack. You’ve got two songs working radio, you’re going to sell way more soundtracks.’ They killed our single to make sure that it wouldn’t hurt Alice In Chains’ thing. I can’t complain, because I love Alice In Chains, and I’m friends with Jerry [Cantrell], and it’s all good, but what I’m saying that’s the kind of stuff nobody ever hears about. Where actually, in the old record business, and they still do it, you’ll kill something where it makes no sense. Why would you kill something that it is working, and working with the public? So that song actually didn’t become as big as it would have become because the record company that held the copyright killed it. So my only revenge was when they came back 20 years later and they wanted to do the reissue of it, and they asked for their demo, and I told them to fuck off. Slight revenge, I took money out of my own pocket, but that’s the way it goes.”
Billy definitely lacks a Brain to Mouth filter, but often he's not wrong. I really drown and most of the earlier Pumpkins work. He might lack a filter but at one point he made some kickass music.

never heard of that until now. I have to hear those tracks.

Now there's an artist. If the exclusion of the demo for Drown meant an extra Paul tune being added then thank you Billy!!
