I like the extension, too.....this approach has paid proven dividends unlike the barry and a bunch of vererans approach. hell, rich aurilia had to sit behind dunston and rey sanchez.

It also shows Posey means it when he says he is not coming out from home to 1st anytime soon. You can always convert Belt to the outfield but that loses his near gold glove defense. If it wasn't for Goldschmidt he would have a couple by now.

I can't watch them right now. Spahn starts with a lead off walk, steals second and gets to 3rd with 1 out. He gets left stranded. Pence just needs to get 1 to the outfield and whiffs. Bad baseball right now. I just hope this gets fixed before we fall too far back.

I can't see the Giants signing him unless he would take a 1 year deal or agree he goes to the pen after this season. Blackburn and Bedde couldl be ready later this season to take starting rolls. They need to get some youth into the rotation.
