    I think it's a kind of passionflower, I took the photo in Costa Rica. And then got stung by a wasp just after taking that picture! I think I was invading his space....

    Trillium.  I took these a few years ago. That spring my husband and I spent a lot of time hiking trails and trying to catch the various wildflowers around here in bloom.  We had to keep going back  again and again to catch these.  A very small window to actually catch them blooming,
