    Is it thick? Thin? Static-laden?

^^ Agree, looks thicker than the one I got with the Debut player. Could be wrong though.

    Hey question-

Should I adjust my tone arm now that this slipmat is being used? The wax is now 1/4" or so higher up than it used to be, so I should, correct?

Felt is intended for DJ's that slide the record back and forth (if you can spin it on the felt, then you don't really need a record player designed to have it's motor manually forced backwards/forwards). Hence the term "Slip"mat :) Personally I bought it for decoration. I have no intention of trying to spin my records forwards/backwards on my record player. I would of bought a rubber one too.

I don't think it's going to be a problem. Nothing different than playing a thicker 180g record vs. a 120g thinner one. I've never adjusted my tone arm when doing that.

My turntable came with a felt mat to sit the record on while playing it. There's nothing wrong with using felt.

Are you using it for decorative purposes or actually putting a record on it to spin? I have an acrylic platter too and I don't know why I even ordered the damn thing

Cool, thanks for the reply. I ended up doing it anyway, it had been a long time since I did it. Figured it couldn't hurt to get everything aligned again.
