Deftones

I love Deftones, Koi No Yokan was one of my favourite records from last year. I like the Palms record too, in fact I must buy it at some point.

Yeah, the new Palms record is a pretty sweet collaboration. There are rumors of a second Team Sleep album too. cross your fingers!

Deftones just announced a summer tour. Supported by Death From Above 1979 (and Incubus but I'm ignoring that). Hopefully the new album is close to being released. I loved Koi No Yokan, looking forward to some new stuff.

Just picked up tickets to the Baltimore show in August

Saw them at SXSW and they still bring it. Some of the shows I saw them do in the late 90's are still some of my faves.

If you bought a ticket to their upcoming tour, you get a free download code to receive their new album. I wish more bands did this.

I am with you. I like it but no where near as good as Koi No Yokan or Diamond Eyes.

It's taking some time but I'm liking it more..

It's taken a few listens, but I'm starting to love the new record. I was a huge fan of Koi No Yokan so I had high expectations. The middle section is pretty incredible, Pittura Infamante, Xenon and (L)MIRL are my favourites at the moment, along with Phantom Bride - Jerry Cantrell's guitar work really lifts the song.
