I know it's not a Grateful Dead original, but much like PJ with Crazy Mary once they played it, they owned it... this my friends, would be perfect for PJ to cover, and it would be fucking incredible

I dont know how you can like rock n roll and not love the Grateful Dead...but whatever floats your boat...or doesn't.

I think PJ could do a great version of 'truckin' with Ed on lead vocal and Stone on the chorus. Yeah?

I would suggest Workingman's Dead or From the Mars Hotel for the uninitiated...

    and plenty of 420-age.

Workingman's Dead is their best studio album in my opinion. But like Pearl Jam, their legacy lies in their live shows.

I understand the Dead's importance and why people love them, I just never got into them myself either.

I can't stand the Grateful Dead.

They are my most loathed band of all-time. Followed closely by Phish. I don't knock anyone for liking them but have tried multiple times to no avail. Having said that I think it would be awesome if they did do a cover just because.

I went to only one Grateful Dead show...Saratoga Springs NY in June of 1988.
I've never witnessed tailgating or a parking lot scene like that up to that point in time or since...

Whatever you do...stay away from that Beatles Bus

I saw them a few times in my teens, last tour. No amount of concert going can prepare you for that tailgate scene. Just a spectacle unto itself.
