I got married last weekend :-D

I know I don't post here as much as I used to so there are many folk I don't know anymore buttt I think there are still plenty of people I do know sooooo I wanted to post...........

So, I got married last weekend &&&& of course there were a few Pearl Jam related elements on the day that I'd lke to share with people who I know will appreciated them. :-)

1st of all, when I left work for my last day before my leave for a long weekend for the wedding a colleague of mine gave me 'pearl jam':

Ok, so it's pearls & jam but I thought it was very sweet of her. Funny thing is too, which she wouldn't have known is 'black cherries' are 'morello' cherries! :-O There's no way she knows my user name on here is morello, or even about my 'thing' for morello cherry. :-)

Next Pearl Jam reference were in my vows. I used 3 quotes:
"to be happy & true is the quest we're taking on together"
"What a different life my darling, had we not found this love together"
& last but not least Lennon/McCartney via Ed Ved
"It has already been sung, but it can't be said enough all you need is love, love is all you need"

My now husband also made a speech after dinner & this was the bit for me:
"So, once **morello**(not my real name obviously! ) and I were standing on her porch as the low light began to fade to black under a yellow moon, looking at her garden, while I swatted the occasional red mosquito thinking about an elderly woman behind the counter in a small town who could have been my Mum(his Mum used to work in a shop in the very small town he's from) but was definitely blood and her cat Rem(my cat Remington, Rem for short) an animal of much indifference chased bugs and caught rats, when I said I should be gone though I wasn't given to fly or looking forward to sleeping by myself or thumbing my way(my husband doesn't drive) home when she turned to me and said why go, come back inside and just breathe and so I stayed, deep sleeping, a nothingman but waking with a smile.... feeling a better man and alive. The end." Before he said the speech he said to me to count how many song titles I could catch. I got 21 but he said there'e 28. :-)

Finally, of course, our playlist of music for the evening played Yellow Ledbetter, Baba O'Riley, RitFW & Indifference as the last songs of the night. :-)
