    thinking about it objectively... what's the difference between being first in the merch line (making sure you get the swag you want) and having the rest of the day to visit the city? just doing the total opposite of what many people say to do by getting merch inside the venue? seems like my method gets me the stuff i want AND i get to see the city before the show, without having to pay ebay prices. not to mention all the cool friends I make and visit along the way. i want to understand why that method is considered unorthodox.

    That's my method too, but for the folks in GA or the peeps who like to really drink it's better to get merch to the car and be unencumbered during the show I suppose.
