- Barrett Martin

I've spent 25 years seeing and playing shows at the Crocodile, its been the home base for so many bands for so many years. And since I seem to play a show there every summer with some band or another, I decided to host a celebration of 25 years of music at The Crocodile featuring bands from my label, Sunyata Records. For this special night I'm bringing the Barrett Martin Group back with some amazing special guest guitarists that we're not announcing until people have had a chance to buy their tickets. If you know who I've played with recently then you have a pretty good idea who they are. My other band Tuatara (featuring Skerik!) will be celebrating our first DVD release, and Vaudeville Etiquette, who are about to release their 2nd studio album will also be playing. Opening the show is a new Sunyata artist, the amazingly talented singer-songwriter Noelle Tannen flying out from Da Bronx (!) to play for you. I recommend you buy your tickets early for this one because once we announce the special guests, this show will set out in a matter of hours, trust me on this one. And thank you all for 25 years of awesomeness! -Barrett

in the last five years or so, barrett martin and all of his projects, have become a very consistent play in my house. i love his drum work and you can tell the guy just loves music and knows you can dig deeper and have intense influences coming from all over the world. i hope we see mccready on the dvd, i can't wait for it!

Surprised tickets are still available for this event. And it's only $25 bucks.
What's the seating capacity @ the Crocodile? 525?

Tell me about it demetrios, if I were a local, I'd be all over that! The Crocodile? $25? Barrett Martin? Those tickets sell themselves!

Me too! It also falls on a Friday. Just imagine if one of those "Seattle's Legendary Guitarists" happens to be Mike McCready?

It almost goes without saying! I'd take advantage of that all you local natives... I'd buy pretty much anything for 25 bucks, let alone a ticket to the Crocodile Cafe. My 2 cents.

@ Barrett Martin shared their event.

The Crocodile 25th Anniversary Party featuring Annie Jantzer, Kathy Moore, Jen Ayers, Tayler Lynn, and Noelle Tannen - 5 AMAZING ladies singing delta blues and Zeppelin with my group. Chris Ballew and Skerik jamming in Tuatara, Jeff Rouse bringing the glam to everyone, Vaudeville Etiquette playing a set of brand new tunes from their new album. I wonder who the guest guitarists might be? I'd buy my tickets right now if I was a betting man. -B

Just confirmed for our Crocodile 25th anniversary show: My former bandmate Van Conner (bassist for Screaming Trees) and Ayron Jones are going to play a couple songs each at our show on June 17th.

The Crocodile's 25th anniversary party is stacking up to be quite the amazing show. I'm the host and couldn't be happier with the people who have signed on. There are a few tickets left and after the next couple announcements, it'll be sold out. Get 'em now! Another guest guitarist joining us is Ryan Waters, a collaborator with Prince, and Sade's lead guitarist. I just played with Ryan last night and my god, what a musician. Other special guests on the show: Chris Ballew playing with Tuatara, Ayron Jones & The Way, Barrett and Van Conner playing some Screaming Trees, Jeff Rouse, Kathy Moore, Annie Jantzer, Jen Ayers, and opening sets by Noelle Tannen, Vaudeville Etiquette, and Tuatara!

Wish I was a Seattle local so I could get in on this. So good.
