I've spent 25 years seeing and playing shows at the Crocodile, its been the home base for so many bands for so many years. And since I seem to play a show there every summer with some band or another, I decided to host a celebration of 25 years of music at The Crocodile featuring bands from my label, Sunyata Records. For this special night I'm bringing the Barrett Martin Group back with some amazing special guest guitarists that we're not announcing until people have had a chance to buy their tickets. If you know who I've played with recently then you have a pretty good idea who they are. My other band Tuatara (featuring Skerik!) will be celebrating our first DVD release, and Vaudeville Etiquette, who are about to release their 2nd studio album will also be playing. Opening the show is a new Sunyata artist, the amazingly talented singer-songwriter Noelle Tannen flying out from Da Bronx (!) to play for you. I recommend you buy your tickets early for this one because once we announce the special guests, this show will set out in a matter of hours, trust me on this one. And thank you all for 25 years of awesomeness! -Barrett

What's the seating capacity @ the Crocodile? 525?
@ Barrett Martin shared their event.
The Crocodile 25th Anniversary Party featuring Annie Jantzer, Kathy Moore, Jen Ayers, Tayler Lynn, and Noelle Tannen - 5 AMAZING ladies singing delta blues and Zeppelin with my group. Chris Ballew and Skerik jamming in Tuatara, Jeff Rouse bringing the glam to everyone, Vaudeville Etiquette playing a set of brand new tunes from their new album. I wonder who the guest guitarists might be? I'd buy my tickets right now if I was a betting man. -B

Just confirmed for our Crocodile 25th anniversary show: My former bandmate Van Conner (bassist for Screaming Trees) and Ayron Jones are going to play a couple songs each at our show on June 17th.

The Crocodile's 25th anniversary party is stacking up to be quite the amazing show. I'm the host and couldn't be happier with the people who have signed on. There are a few tickets left and after the next couple announcements, it'll be sold out. Get 'em now! Another guest guitarist joining us is Ryan Waters, a collaborator with Prince, and Sade's lead guitarist. I just played with Ryan last night and my god, what a musician. Other special guests on the show: Chris Ballew playing with Tuatara, Ayron Jones & The Way, Barrett and Van Conner playing some Screaming Trees, Jeff Rouse, Kathy Moore, Annie Jantzer, Jen Ayers, and opening sets by Noelle Tannen, Vaudeville Etiquette, and Tuatara!

The Seattle Weekly gave us our own cartoon for our 25th anniversary show this Friday at The Crocodile. Created by Noel Franklin, its a great visual history of The Crocodile and all the cool bands that have played there, including the bands we have lined up for Friday's show. I love this kind of art! Thank you Noel and The Seattle Weekly! Barrett
Our show is tonight! Celebrating 25 years of music at The Crocodile in Seattle. Literally only a handful of tickets left and you can only get them here in the ticket link below, because if you wait to get them at the door they will probably be gone. We have quite a show rehearsed, about 4 hours of music from special guests across the Seattle music scene, and quite the amazing backing band. We look forward to seeing all of you tonight! Thank you, Barrett

Happy Solstice Everyone!
I would like to personally thank all of you who filled the house for that rather amazing 25th anniversary show at The Crocodile in Seattle. Tuatara was honored to be the house band backing up all that talent and diversity from all those special guests. And by coincidence (or not), on this Summer Solstice the new Tuatara live album is available for pre-order on iTunes as of today. This is our first live album and it contains over 2.5 hours of music from our homecoming show last November. Have a listen in the link below, and once again, thank you for supporting our band and all the great music in our fair city. -Barrett
