Don't. Because once you do you'll keep going back for more.HesCalledDyer said:I should really see this band live at some point in my life. I listened to Under the Table the other day for the first time in years and man, it's still incredible!
It's a lovely addiction."My brain's a good brain!"0 -
They are worth seeing. Super tight band. I've seen them probably 25 or 30x and while they are not nearly as good as PJ, they are very good live. It helps to know their catalog though.HesCalledDyer said:I should really see this band live at some point in my life. does tim reynolds now play at every show? it's very weird hearing an electric guitar on jimi thing lol.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

Yeah he does. Been that way for several tours now. I really like Tim on the solo tours with Dave, but not a huge fan of the full band. His sound is too 'rock and roll' for them, if that makes sense. For several years they had Butch Taylor on the piano, which I thought was an awesome compliment to the band. He blended in perfectly. Tim seems out of place to me.mcgruff10 said:does tim reynolds now play at every show? it's very weird hearing an electric guitar on jimi thing lol.

I could only agree with you more if you said Tim was odd as fuck or needs to sit in a car seat on his tour bus. Great band to see though, I'll hit my 65th show this summer.mrussel1 said:

Whooo.. and I thought I was down on TR! Funny stuff! I don't know how many shows I've been to, but I'm fairly sure I've made every tour at least once since 95. I live in Richmond, so easy around here. Going to the 25th too, along with the VA Beach.maryjayne127 said:

I can't stand him! I feel like he's taken so much away from the core sound of the band. I could go on about it! I won't be at the 25th, I'm getting married that day so I kinda have to be there. I have to give a lot of credit to the band, if it weren't for DMB I never would have met my fiancé. And TR was one of my favorite munchkins in Th Wizard of Oz.mrussel1 said:

DMB25 was amazing. The Art Exhibit held that weekend too was amazing.
Nobody musically sounds better live, imho.

I just read on the Modern Vinyl website that Crash is going to be issued on vinyl for the first time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release. 2 x lp set on 180 gram vinyl with an 8 page booklet included. This is turning out to be an expensive year for vinyl lovers.0

I'd rather have Live at Red Rocks or D&T Live at Luther College on vinyl.Croos1226 said:I just read on the Modern Vinyl website that Crash is going to be issued on vinyl for the first time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release. 2 x lp set on 180 gram vinyl with an 8 page booklet included. This is really good news. I'd like a Red Rocks or Gorge release, but I'm good starting with Crash. That is a brilliant album. Crash makes me very happy when I'm listening to it. I hope it is more like R2things rather than Dreaming, which was awful.Croos1226 said:I just read on the Modern Vinyl website that Crash is going to be issued on vinyl for the first time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release. 2 x lp set on 180 gram vinyl with an 8 page booklet included. from what I can find, release date would be July 15th.mrussel1 said:

Ordered mine the other day. I hope it is a good pressing. I never bought under the table because the reviews were horrible. Remember Two Things was good.disilluzion said:0 -
