We all know how bad the pricing can be to get some quality framing done in the US....I am on vacation in Sarajevo right now and my friend took a small picture he picked up in Italy to a framer they all use locally. Probably a 12x15" ish print with 1 mat, nice double frame, and glass came out to 29km... $16.23 US. I showed her a picture of something really nice I had done and asked the store how long it would take and how much it would cost(archive everything, cut outs, uv glass, the works). 2 days and because it would be "much custom work it would be higher" something like $45 US.

Finally starting to frame all these posters I have. Just got this one back from the hobby lobby. With the 40% coupon that they always have, only turned out to be $65 total....

Hey, that's a great Chicago Vedder poster and clean looking frame arrangement.
I've been framing my 18x24 in posters using Jerry's Artarama ambiance frames - you can get them for approx. $30 when on sale.... there's no mat and a plexi-glass front instead of glass.
Recently I've bought the Ribba Ikea frame that is super cheap - it's the one that is a size down from their 24x36 frame. A local framer has cut the plain off-white mat to house a traditional 18x24 concert poster for $10+tax.
'Just thought I'd share my experiences as I'm always interested in budget framing options. Have a nice week.

Yeah, I love that poster...one of my favorites. So happy that I finally got it framed.

I'm not artistic at all, so I don't trust myself framing any posters on my own. Going to stick with the hobby lobby for now.

I've bought a lot of posters at a lot of Pearl Jam shows but this is the only one I have up. The rest of my wall space is filled with Widespread Panic Emeks, Tsangs, and Slaters. Too many ugly PJ Ames.

Just picked up Lolla 07 poster. I liked this one better than the PJ specific poster. Went with a double matte for this one. Came out great. This is starting to get addicting. Will probably drop another one off next week....
