Fenway Start Time

I know there is some talk about a 10:30 curfew for Fenway, and I just got my tickets in the mail and they list 5PM gates and a 630PM start time. Sounds about right. It will be kind of fun to see Pearl Jam play as the sun sets. It will be like our own PJ-only festival show (assuming there is no opener.)

    I'm guessing they go on at 7:30, which will still be great.

    It's great and when we saw them at Milton Keynes, the moon was large, low, bright and yellow, perfectly placed for a great version of.......yellow moon, never to be forgotten.

    Even with no opener and doors at 5? Interesting. I say Ed comes out and does a few songs at 6:30 beforehand.

    I'm going in early, probably right after doors. Just to enjoy the whole experience.

    According to the person I spoke to at Fenway ticketing, they said doors at 5. Show at 6:30.

    according to the email from 10c about ticket distribution, PJ set time is at 730pm

    Just heard a rumor from a Boston radio station that Pearl Jam will go on early, at 6:30, with a short pre-set. Don't know if it's true but figured I'd pass it along

    Uh oh, the rumor mill is spinning. Would think they would publicize this, as they did before in Mansfield. Why trick fans into missing the pre-set?

    I don't think the band would do that so I'm guessing the radio station is incorrect. But I'll be in the area just in case.

    i heard 730 but don't have anything to back that up, just a rumor. hoping to get in there as early as possible. any info would help.

    I doubt the band would tell us 7:30 and then go at 6:30, but still...consider this one more reason to get in early and enjoy Fenway Park.

    very good point unless they were trying to do something special for those inside. don't have my ticket on me at work, does it say 730 start time or 630? i called fenway box office and they say show is scheduled to start at 630. not really sure what do to, just passing along the info.

    Maybe an old school Ed solo one song preset before the non-existent opening band.

    10C tickets say this exactly:

    "6:30 PM/GATES OPEN AT 5:00PM"

    Email from 10C said PJ set time is 7:30. Maybe they'll wheel Aerosmith out at 6:30 for a few songs :)

    I agree with why wouldn't they announce it but the tickets do say 6:30. I was at Mansfield For That acoustic preset and it was the best I ever saw. So why chance it
