    I will continue to not have any need for these. They seem most appropriate for a DJ or anyone else who likes to haul records places. I don't understand why people with vinyl collections and shelves at home would need record crates.

    Its a neat way to demarcate your PJ collection. But yeah, it serves no real purpose unless you keep your collection to the side (Which I do do with my White Stripes in its LP carrying case).

    Okay, fair enough. I hadn't really considered that people would separate the PJ albums from their bigger collection like that.
    I'm just talking the 12" one btw. I think there is an obvious usefulness when it comes to a singles box.

    Bought the 7" box. My singles needed an upgraded home over the $5 box I bought in the early 1980s - like moving from a tent to a mansion for them. I didn't think the 12" box was practical for me given the price, the number of albums I have, and given that it is sold out, so I'm good with the straight shelving that I have now. I do appreciate the opportunity to purchase such items and will admit the price point had me thinking this one over for nearly a week. Thanks 10C!

    If the Canadian dollar didn't stink I would probably buy the 7" crate, my regular records are all in shelves, my 7" records are in a wooden box I bought at Michaels, this would be cooler.

    But..... If, ifs and buts were candies and nuts we'd all have a fine Xmas.
