As a small business owner who's main source of income is services.... but we also sell a little merchandise........the bands "profits" from this stuff is probably not even close to enough to cover the salaries of the people that work the 10C. Just sayin'Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste0

If the band were really all about money they would tour non stop and rake it in from shows and show merch. I think its an incredibly lazy and crass accusation to throw at the band that all they care about is money, when I'd argue they are the most socially conscious band of their size.
clearly they want to make some fun or unique items for a very merch rabid fan base. Some will hit with a large number, some will miss with a large number (despite still selling out to the minority. Unfortunately, people are gonna complain no matter what.

I don't think that's the issue here.0

Yep. For a box. And using that same logic, buying a poster is spending $25 on a thick sheet of paper.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:

Exactly. It's a 100 dollars not a million.KC2917 said:The folks on here never cease to amaze me. It's $100, big deal. Maybe that's a more significant amount to some people than it is to others, but let's not forget we're talking about A FUCKING HOBBY here. It's not like Ed bought the rights to a life saving AIDS drug and jacked the price up 5000%! A little perspective around here from time to time wouldn't hurt.
It's a fucking wood box. Buy it or don't.With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
His point is the "box" can also be considered "art".PJ_Soul said:

hypocrisy
The practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform.
It's a unique item specifically made for us 10 club members. Some will buy it some won't, some will like it, some won't. For those that bought it, enjoy. For those that didn't and are complaining about it, I suggest you buy it and use the wood to build a bridge to get over it.0 -

I thought I had some days to build up the courage to pay for this being a Pre-Sale and the fact the price to ship such a big box (which is expected sending to AUS by the way)...but they are all sold. Damn.0

Stack them vertically, and very carefully I might add, and you could easily get the claimed 85 or more.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:things look like fancy milk crates. How is that 12" one supposed to fit 85+ records is beyond me.
I prefer my shelves.

I would. I have run a customer service department in the past and am often shocked by the way 10c approaches communication. There are not many organizations/companies/groups where these kinds of comments would be acceptable.lotsalemon said:

Pretty cool item, but not interested. Really like that they fit in the IKEA shelves, but I'm not sure they can fit oversized gatefolds if that's the case. I just bought storage for my whole collection for less.
I don't get people clamoring for these exact items, then complaining about it when they're nicer than what we could've anticipated. Sure they're a little pricier, but typical record cases branded by other bands are junk.

Yep. It means that as far back as 1993 they knew what their fan base would be like so they put one on the cover of Vs. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.PJammer4life said:Pearl Jam 20 Backpack..price uproar..Sold Out
