Got 4th Row Center in Edmonton! Never seen him solo, pretty stoked. Been a while since I bought tickets from TM, $17/ticket service charge!!!0
-
I had floor in the center in Victoria and let them go.
$110 per ticket is lame, already seen him twice.-Seattle,Wash-Key Arena-9/21/9 -Vancouver,B.C-Rogers Arena-12/4/13 -Vancouver,BC-Rogers Arena-5/6/24

Ugh... I had row K centre section but I think my work firewall blocks their pay system.... I clicked submit assuming it would send me to where I enter my cc info, but I think it was the small box on the bottom that said it was blocked.. ugh.0

I could not stomach the charges either - I have seen him before too, at my favorite venue - The State Theatre in Kalamazoo Michigan.RobbyD462 said:I had floor in the center in Victoria and let them go.

Last time I saw him I was front row center at UVIC and during the encore he came out and commented on my Soundgarden Louder than Fuck shirt shook my hand and asked me what I wanted to hear.Zero Chance!buck502000 said:

I had some pull in the first few rows of the balcony after my work's firewall messed with the paywall, but I'm not paying $100+ to sit in the balcony....
We don't get alot of these calibre of shows in Victoria so I'm willing to pay a little more to see musicians come to the Island... will try the other presales.
edit: I miss what happened on last years tour where they sent out the email after tickets went on sale. You woke up, saw the email and immediately checked for tickets. Everytime people get a heads up and check at the same time, bad things happen

I think his shows are worth the price. He plays for over 2 hours and the music and banter is high quality. Few people can hold an audience's attention on their own for that long, and he's one of the best.RobbyD462 said:I had floor in the center in Victoria and let them go.

I agree with Zod that I probably wouldn't pay $100+ to sit in the balcony either.0 -
I got my email the evening before the presale, but it sounds like some people got them the next day, while the presale was already happening and missed out on being able to jump on the presale right away.Zod said:

Mine came overnight on that one. I grabbed my morning coffee, checked my email, hummed and hawed about whether or not to travel to Vancouver, thought I'd look to see what was there, and I got row 1. Couldn't say no to that (probably wouldn't of traveled to Vancouver for less quality tickets). It was kind of cool how the span of finding out about the show and buying tickets was only 2 to 3 minutes, and as a result I got really really good tickets. Never seen anything like that.Suziemay said:

Managed to get Pit Row C tickets for Louisville. First five minutes or so, there were no tickets available (of any type)--not sure if it was a glitch or what. Kept refreshing at a slow enough pace not to trigger the anti-bot defenses of TM/Livenation (had that happen to me once, it was terrible--locked me out for ten minutes during a Springsteen onsale), and eventually tickets were available. $75 plus fees per seat, for anyone curious about pricing by section.
Saw the solo full-band show at the Palace in 2007, his appearance the second night at PJ20, solo acoustic in 2011 at the Brown Theater (his solo-acoustic "A Day in the Life" is still a jaw-dropper for me), and with Soundgarden at the Palace in 2013, I think? Can't wait to see him again. Such a great live performer.0 -
Geeze 30 dollar service charge for 2 tix at Louisville Palace.... Ticketbastard/Live Nation raping us0
-
My seats are Orc 2 Row P @ Louisville Palace0
-
@ Spooney that 2007 show at the Palace was unbelievable.... Hearing the Audioslave/Soundgarden/Temple of the Dog/Solo all in 1 night.... Was better than his songbook tour for sure, and that was really good.0

I for some god only knows reason didnt see Chris last fall in Toronto. Haunts me even more that there aren't any close dates for me this time around. But on the bright side SG will probably be playing next year and I damn well won't be missing that one0
