I find both options challenging, but worthwhile and achievable. I think finding a way opens the door to rising :)

Mr Harper has a hundred different sounds, this one happens to be perfect for dancing with babies.

    "I'm a living sunset
    Lightning in my bones
    Push me to the edge
    But my will is stone
Cause I believe in a better way

    Fools will be fools
    And wise will be wise
But I will look this world
    Straight in the eyes
I believe in a better way
I believe in a better way

    What good is a man
    Who won't take a stand
    What good is a cynic
    With no better plan
I believe in a better way
I believe in a better way

    Reality is sharp
It cuts at me like a knife
    Everyone I know
Is in the fight of their life
And I believe in a better way

Take your face out of your hands
    And clear your eyes
You have a right to your dreams
    And don't be denied
I believe in a better way
I believe in a better way
I believe in a better way"

    It don't come easy.

    Fucking Harrison.

Hope the Hare Krishna part doesn't offend any denizens of this place.

Please remember peace is what we make it.

New Megadeth - feels apt today, in ways.

What we are witnessing is the decline of western civilization
Crushing our potential and piling it on, how will history portray us?
Attack the family, attack their faith and dreams
Attack the body and the head will fall

A lasting legacy or ruin brought in haste?
The enemy of truth is lying there in state

Another day, another manufactured crisis keeping the people distracted
There's no one playing by the rules anymore, how will history portray us?
A broken backbone with nothing left to lose?
That hate the sight of all the ones that do?

A lasting legacy or ruin brought in haste?
The enemy of truth is lying there in state

A shiny new agenda, birthed from a depraved mind
Of failing us on purpose, to culturally sanitize
Its opiates for the masses under cloak as hope and change
The new normal or just more of the same?

    The perfect plan
    Must have an alibi
    And the perfect pawn
    To spew the party line
    Of the perfect falsehood
    Spoke a thousand times
    The perfect words
    Cover the greatest crime

Hell is turning itself inside out
To lead its path up to meet us
    And we deliberately take
A step, one foot closer to the grave

You are most welcome, good sir.

New stuff is interesting and thoughtful to me, though my husband is the long-time fan. He tries to spoon-feed me their music and I must say, so far, so good :)

Those Megadeth lyrics to Lying In State seem so appropriate today. Mustaine now a committed Christian has written and is still writing some pre found lyrics. I'm watching a complete concert from last week for their new Dystopia album which gotten some great reviews.

g, I have a feeling that'll be appropriate for the next several months.

    I fucking love Mustaine!

Taking a long weekend and listening to the music my husband would typically roll his eyes at me for.

Currently blasting the scene from (the film) Hair - Let the Sunshine In.

ABBA's Waterloo might be up next.

Anyone here rolls their eyes at me for that, I'll cut ya =)

Well, this might be one of the loveliest things I've ever heard or seen...this version.

Sort of appropriate for now too?

Lol, I won't roll my eyes I'll just look away, look away. A couple days ago I was listening to Billy Idol albums and I thought if my friends saw me they would disown me. However, I love to hear the songs Sweet Sixteen, Eyes Without A Face etc. was he ever a MTV staple back in the day.

I always dug Idol's music, part of my teen-ish years. I remember when he had a motorcycle accident close by here, something like 25 years ago.

    White Wedding!

Told my husband of the musical binging and he indeed rolled his eyes  Then kissed my forehead.

Music is like food, I guess. Cravings run the gamut.
