I hope y'all are being good to each other here.  Remember, it IS a sad and beautiful world.

I've been really busy making this happen in my garage:

That's magnificent Brian! Especially that LP Special!

Happy Thursday, Brian! Looks great and a lot of work! 🤯

Do you have any "before" pictures that you care to share and how long it took to get to this point?

    Glad you are doing well!
Thanks!  Yes, here is how it was all crowded before:

Thanks!  I had the LP Special set up properly recently and it's sounding great.  Now all that's left is to find a good pedal board.  I'm also thinking about getting a chorus pedal.

I like the relatively inexpensive, great sounding and reliable electro harmonix small clone.

After careful consideration, I feel bitchin' is the adjective that best describes this scene. I wonder if any of these books make use of it...

    Thanks, Five!
About 2/3 of the books in this center section of the garage (we call it "the inner sanctum") are music biographies and other music-related books, so my guess bitchin' is in a few or more of them.

I'm going to put this here. I've been trying to decrease my participation on AMT, as it is so bloody toxic (not necessarily referring to the discourse completely, but just being involved to the extent some of us are involved in can be toxic to ourselves, regardless of the content). Sometimes it's hard to put down the pen, however. But this article makes sense:

    https://www.cbc.ca/radio/ideas/nietzsche-passing-by-healthy-discourse-1.7434781

what really stood out to me was this near the end:

"If you want to really change the ultimate commitments that give meaning to our lives and thereby to help transform the world, then you actually need to be really careful about constant participation in public debate because you become incapable of speaking in other than the terms of received public debate," Satkunanandan said.
