Dave, your stuff is amazing.derbydave said:Picked up my latest framing project over the weekend!!
It's the My Morning Jacket poster from their back to back shows last June at The Fillmore in Detroit.
It's the signed and numbered edition by AMAZING artist James Flames,
AND we got these posters at the VIP soundcheck party....
so it's signed by the whole band too!!
Julia used my standard black frame and top matte...
She (along with 2 GREAT friends from the boards) helped me pick out the burgundy linen accent matte and the chain link fillet between the matte and the poster!!!
Julia surprised me with these custom floral cuts in the top matte that match the roses in the poster...I love the leaves she cut from a black matte with yellow core too:
I really like how she incorporated these floral cuts into the openings for my tickets, pictures and wristbands!!
Getting back to Pearl Jam now...
either the Lincoln '14 or Pendleton from Global Citizen Festival is up next!!

but Julia gets all the credit for my framing projects!!
It is so much FUN for me though...
because I truly never know what my finished frames will look like until she's finished with them!!
AND what makes it even better,
is that you can just tell how much she enjoys doing these projects,
and she really does put in a lot effort figuring out how to make each one different!!'96: Seattle: Key Arena

2015 Mexico City band signed poster. The pic does not do it justice - the blue metallic frame and mats go together so well in person, I love it. Will be framing my Pitt AP tonightPost edited by Brane_of_JFK on0

oddly, the only PJ poster I've ever scored was from my first show, Chicago 98. It's framed in my TV room. I've had crazy luck with Wilco Chicago though, my house is full of them. If anyone ever finds a PJ Moline poster, PM me. That's my white whale of posters...- Chicago Gchicago98-chicago00-chicago03-east troy03-chicago06-chicago09-east troy11_2-chicago13-moline14-milwaukee14-lexington16-chicago16_1-chicago16_2-chicago18_1-chicago18_20

Well that worked out well. Nevermind0

I realized recently that I'm never going to get around to framing all the posters I have - and I don't have anywhere near what most ppl have - so I've been getting rid of a bunch and keeping only those that are really, really important to me. With that and the nice bonus I just got, I figured I'd better send this one off while I have the dough. Because of the odd size, it's a bit more expensive to frame than a standard 18x24.Brane_of_JFK said:
