So Epic/Sony would still be the ones releasing the pre-backspacer catalog, Pearl Jam still owns their catalog from Backspacer to now, but Universal simply handles the royalties?
I can't see Sony selling the music rights to that catalog. I don't recall anyone doing that since Michael Jackson ended up with the Beatles catalog.. lol
So maybe when Mike and Kelly mentioned something being in the works for PJ25, they were referring to a string of vinyl reissues as a way to commemorate the event, and not a PJ20 style festival.
Very interesting. I have a very slim chance of getting to anything after Wrigley so something like this or a new box set would be fine with me

Sony owned 50% and MJ's estate owned 50% after a deal they made in 95.
Very curious what this could mean as well regarding reissues of vinyl.
Not sure. But maybe their social media pages will stop showing unofficial privated Pearl Jam vinyl bootlegs & show more official Pearl Jam vinyl releases.
Lol Reminds me of Jordan Brand releasing a shirt with a fake pair of Fire Red IVs on it.

How utterly bizarre that they'd tweet a pic of bootleg vinyl. Smh.
Haha, agreed. And of all of the possible PJ vinyls to put in the pic they picked one of the three or four that are absolutely easiest to identify as bootlegs.
Maybe the social media coordinator that took the picture couldn't afford the real versions of Binaural and Self Titled

I'm not surprised. Didn't they retweet a picture of a David Bowie impersonator after his death?
