Sadly, not until 2008. In the early days I was young living in a tiny rural New England town with no way to attend shows. When I was older I had moved to Florida and well you know how that goes (no funds for show travel back then either). So 2008 Tampa Florida was my first.
MSG 1 & 2 2010--hell of a combo for my 1st PJ live experience!
Almost went in 2008, but actually glad I wasn't able to go--it was pretty much weeks after I discovered PJ, and I totally would not have appreciated it in the same way as finally attending those MSG shows, 2 years later.

10/31/2000 Mtn View, California. It should have been Lolla '92 in NJ, but I skipped it even though most of my friends went! Also had about 3 or 4 other shows that I just never got me act together to make it to. Oh well. Making up for lost time now whenever I can.

i missed them a bunch of times and managed to finally see my first show on 24 May, 2006 at TD Banknorth Garden (now TD Garden) in Boston. what a fun two night concert experience. i went in with no expectations setlist wise and just managed to be in disbelief with what was heard within the two nights.
i have witnessed some performances. i have soaked up a lot of memories.

08/20/92 - Lakewood Amphitheater: Atlanta, GA (Lollapalooza) [45m] set: Why Go, Deep, Jeremy, Even Flow, Alive, Hard to Imagine (teaser), Porch, Baba O'Riley, Rockin' in the Free World notes: Ed comments about 'Baba O'Riley:' "We saw a picture of these guys [The Who] backstage. I guess they must have played here, but it inspired us to play this song ... even though we don't know how." (Actually, The Who were the first band to play at Lakewood Amphitheater when it opened in 1989.) The band, Follow For Now, joins PJ for "RitFW" ... sort of an odd coincidence as Follow For Now (an Atlanta band) was originally scheduled to open for PJ at the cancelled April 92 show in Atlanta.
Eddie walked out alone to a faint golden spotlight and strummed his Fender Telecaster at an almost indiscernible volume while he started to sing with soul and with great tenderness and then began to accelerate to a belting passion. As I had my first moments of hearing his voice it was everything I had built it up and imagined it would be and more. The song was a cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down". I will never forget those moments. I can still see and feel them as it was yesterday. 22 years later that moment and the following 90 minutes were the emotions and experiences I will continue to chase and capture, night after night as I attend shows and close my eyes and listen to live shows at home or in my car. It all started then and has never really stopped for me!

1998… 2nd show in East Troy, WI… Yield tour… it was a long time coming… Really wish I could re-live that one… Tears during Nothingman… Pure elation during Wishlist…
Those two shows were the best shows I've seen. Energy, crowd participation, pre-parties in the fields. I was about 20 rows back from stage and remember looking back up the hill during Even Flow and watching every single person throwing fists up in the air with ever grunt and groan.....it looked like the crowd was endless to the sky. I'd go back to that weekend in a heartbeat; amazing.
Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste
Toronto 1996...20 years ago, wow...shirt still intact, which I find oddly impressive...
The red No Code tee shirt right? Mine is immaculate - equally surprised it held up so well. Also believe I picked up the black sweater? Just a shame a poster wasn't available for the show. I remember the merch table set up across the street to help keep prices down.

October 30, 1991, Toronto. Only time I've seen them live, and didn't know who they were at the time, but became a fan that night, lol.
Why haven't you seen them since!?!
Generally I didn't know about shows until it was too late to get reasonably-priced tickets, and I didn't "officially" join 10C until November 2014. I was able to make do with live releases, videos and then the official bootlegs. Thanks to the ticket lottery, this sad situation will be remedied in May, lol.

It was a last minute decision, my first major concert of any kind. I was supposed to be home watching my little sister, but I ditched her and went to the show with one of my good friends and his older brother. My mom was NOT happy, but it was worth it. They had seats in the pavilion and I had a lawn seat, but once we were in the venue they were able to pass me a ticket to get down there with them. Pearl Jam opened with Interstellar Overdrive into Corduroy and my life was changed forever.
Lollapalooza fortunate enough to catch it both times its rolled through town that year. Got to meet Ed out in the middle of the lawn area crouched down by himself before lush took the stage. He signed a dollar bill for me the only thing I had on me at the time. Also saw them at the Fox Theater in Atlanta 1993. Best show ever. They need to play a fan club only show there again, if they ever decide to play a non festival show here again. It's been since 2003 but it's not like I'm keeping track!
Moline 2014 was my first show. Grew up listening to PJ, always loved them. Bought a new car in 2013 with sirius XM included and i renewed it just for PJ Radio. I will never forgive myself for the years I missed being that I am 26 now. Making up for it now!
