There is still hope for the rest of the album. I have a lot of faith in this band

I agree.I always look past the first single.

Hmm. not digging it. It sounds like the Black Keys being played by Cage the Elephant.

I have to agree. I don't dislike it, but it's a little too strong on the Auerbach influence.
yeah finally heard the single on the radio this morning. Def. Black Keys-ish. It was ok, i like some of their other singles more.

First singles are often the worst song on the album.
The song's not bad. Yeah, reminds me of the Black Keys too, but better (i can't stand the black keys). I like the video. I want that skeleton horse and carriage!

  • Still thinking about it. Struggling to pull the trigger.

    Damn my indecisiveness.

Only 2 left with the test press'. That record package is hard to beat! Signed record AND a cd with some other goodies all for $75? Man that's easy.
    Package received today.

    I paid $75? I seriously can't remember.

This might have been the best 75 spent at any moment in my life. Talk about value. Holy cow.

Finally got around to listening to the whole album, and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought it was. Not mind blowing stuff, but a fun listen!

Am I just used to how quickly PJ sells, or is this Cage the Elephant tour selling very poorly? The tour starts soon, tickets have been on sale for awhile, and you can get amazing seats still for many of the shows... and they're not expensive at all.

Just looked at Buffalo tickets and was amazed with how many GA are left and the sections of reserved seating I was pulling when I put the ticket count up to even 6 or 8

  • They are still a GA only audience. They shouldn't be playing big venues.

I am not impressed with the new album - I thought it was the black keys - neither band is too creative anymore

fucking patrick carney ruined CTE by producing them. I hate producers who just make the band sound like their own band.

Uh oh - didn't know the drummer produced it. It has couple catchy tunes - I listened to the new one 5-6 times before deciding meh. :)
  • I liked it but it wasn't a CTE album. It was different.
Maybe it will grow more on me over time.
I'm still happy with the package of the last album though.
