I find it weird that tickets.com has yet to post anything about the show even though the public sale is friday

    That is a little strange

Curious how many tickets 10club got total per show. Has to be a lot. They stated there are more reserved seats available than GA, and that GA looks huge, like it could hold several thousand folks (maybe 3500-4000 as a guess), so they must have had maybe like 10,000 seats per show for fan club members.

  • Agree with Poncier, I totally want to know what the available numbers were/are. Im thinking 4,000 is high but then again, it basically an outfield of space.

How did anyone not get a ticket with how huge that section is. I can't believe how low they odds were with that large of a section. That's like 3000 seats

Great for you. Congrats! But this is the 2nd time I have heard of someone winning tix to both Fenway shows while I was shut-out of both. How can this happen? My number is 166***. That's a lot of years paying dues to have to handle getting shut-out of fanclub tix when others are getting hooked up to both shows. I thought for sure I would get one of the nights.

    That GA is huge

My guess is that's not an accurate seating chart. Yes, GA will be in front of the stage, but I have a hard time believing it will be that huge.

The GA is not that big. Red Rocks holds 3500 people. They don't want people getting trampled. The GA for 10c members only have had plenty of room in the recent past. I guess they gave out 500 GA tickets max. The weird thing is that tickets.com says "no events found" when you search Pearl Jam. I know someone just mentioned that but it is really strange. I got GA for Wrigley night 2, but need 2 tickets for Wrigley night 1. Tickets.com will crash lol

There's no way there are only 500 GA tickets at Wrigley. Arenas had far more than that and this GA is a lot bigger than an arena GA.

I was not comparing anything. I was just thinking capacity. Yeah, Red Rocks is close to 10k. I don't know why I was thinking 3,500. I must have been thinking about Red Rocks GA used to be the first 35 rows which took up about 1/3 the venue. I have seen close to 100 concerts at Red Rocks though :) In any case, there is no way the GA at Wrigley is 3,500 people like someone said earlier and got me thinking how many people that would be smashed in that GA area.

I went to Wrigley in 2013 and I was surprised how open the GA felt. You could get very close very easily.

That's how I felt at last GA show. Everyone I know said that about shows they saw too. They are not over-selling the pit. Not their style.

  • Question
  • Question about the Wrigley reserved seating. I got tickets for Wrigley night 1. I know seating is based on seniority but, how good are the reserved seats if your seniority isn't very high up in the rankings? Don't know exactly where I stand in seniority but, are most of the 10c reserved seating lower bowl close to stage? Or are some seats high up or way back by home plate? Just wondering after seeing that seating chart. I may try to get really good seats through public sale just in case.

In 2013, I was on the field...not too far from 3rd base. My number is 23X,XXX That far back on a flat surface, it was hard to see anything. The sound was great, though (I love the outdoors). I accepted then, and accept now (I won reserved both nights) that ballparks are not great concert venues from a sight-line perspective. I personally feel that the vibe of the "destination" concert makes up for some of that. I suspect there were some Ticketmaster-purchased tickets that had better views than mine, but so be it (At least mine were easy enough to get).

This time could be different. First, the GA pit is bigger (I fear that pushes me back some). Second, maybe they rearranged where our seats are? Third, Maybe the fact that there are two shows and more previous touring vs 2001 helps. So any guess I'd have as to where I'll end up would be speculation...but I do accept that my view is not likely to be great.

GA (floor) at most arena shows is 1,000. With safety of their fans being top priority for PJ, I doubt the GA section holds much more than that.

Width of the floor at a basketball arena is what about 100 feet, the width of the GA area at Wrigley between foul poles in the outfield has to be at least 300 feet, looks like it could be closer to 350-400, depth is probably similar, so there'll be a lot more than 1,000 folks in GA.
