Because it took me so flipping long to read it - but it's a great book. I did a book blog post on it, too, if anyone would like more info. http://mybookclubforone.blogspot.com/2016/01/a-dot-ham.html

How do you blokes feel about audio books? I've read (or I guess I should say listened) to my last couple books this way and really like it. I feel like I get through them faster and really like listening to them on the ride to and from work. Great way to pass that time.

But part of me feels like it's cheating my way through the book. Lol.

    Thoughts?

This for me, pretty much. Like to hold the book and read it myself. My mind tends to wander if I listed to someone else read.

Somebody told me there was a study about real books versus ebooks and people tend to skim more when they're reading a book on Kindle, for example. I don't know if that's true or not.

My eyes need an occasional break from the electronics so I dodge ebooks as well. Good old fashioned paper!

Your Heart Is A Muscle The Size Of A Fist, by Sunil Yapa. It centers around the Seattle WTO protests, as seen through the eyes of seven different people. So far, so good.

Interesting! I'll definitely be checking this one out. I remember having to push through protesters and cops to try to get to my office. What a gigantic clusterfuck it was. But it sounds like a great setting for this book.

How long does it take you guys and girls to read a book?
I am such a slow reader, 20 pages in 1 hour.

Not quite sure about this one. It's sort of a fantasy that he worked on for ten years.
Loved his books: Remains of the day and Never Let Me Go
