For those that have never been, there are tons of restaurants in Greenville. I've only been there once for a few days but fell in love with the town. Stayed at the westin which is beyond nice. The couple restaurants we ate at were really good. I recommend The Lazy Goat and Trattoria Giorgio, but there are a lot of other choices. Nose Dive has a nice selection of beers and good food as well.

Excellent suggestions and the Greenville show also takes place on Record Store Day.

Do they have Uber in Greenville?

Was also hoping to utilize Uber if available. I found this:
    https://www.uber.com/cities/greenville-sc
then I found this:....but its a year old
    http://www.wyff4.com/news/uber-now-illegal-in-south-carolina/30749378

    Update:

It dawned on me that I could just open the app, move the map to Greenville...and what do you know, I see lots of little Uber cars, so it looks like the service is available..
    Very cool. Thank you.

Yea, there are like 100 some restaurants on Main Street alone. There are also a lot of restaurants off Woodruff Rd (great Whole Foods location) and Pelham Rd.

Asheville restaurants may be better but this is subjective. They are certainly more eclectic.

My favorite coffee in downtown Greenville is "Methodical Coffee"...one of the best coffee shops in the country. Second favorite coffee place is "Tandem Creperie and Coffee" in Travelers Rest.

"Luna Rosa Gelato" may be one of the best places for gelato you will find anywhere.

"Passerelle Bistro" is on of my favorite lunch spots downtown Greenville. It has outdoor seating with great views of the park, waterfall, and bridge.

My favorite restaurant in Asheville right now is "The Admiral"....place looks like a dump on the outside...but is really quaint on the inside and this chef is killing it right now. Awesome food.

I liked the Trappe Door in downtown greenville.
Very good selection of Belgium beers and strong enough american craft.
Food was very good. I would not call this place cheap but it is not fine dining... kind of nice gastro pub style.

Agreed, "Trappe Door" is really good and consistent. A lot of beers and it is located in a basement so it has a pretty cool atmosphere. Everything that I've had on their menu has been great. They used to have all you can eat mussels and fries on Tuesdays...it was awesome while it lasted.

On Sunday, would people recommend seeing Greenville, or is Asheville the way to go? Those breweries mentioned sounded like s good time.
