I put in for Toronto Reserved; MSG 2 Reserved; Quebec Reserved; and Ottawa Reserved. I received tickets to Quebec and lost the rest, which seems to line up pretty evenly with the odds and the order of the picks. From reading the forum ahead of time, it seemed pretty clear that you must pick wisely with your top picks, and make sure to put a high percentage venue near the top if you want to guarantee getting at least 1 show. I think a safe strategy is to pick a risky show for your top pick and then an almost guaranteed show for your 2d or 3rd so you don't get shut-out. If you really want to see a PJ show you have to be willing to travel. I haven't been to Quebec before so I'm looking forward to the trip!
I did GA in Cincy in 2014. When you pick up your tickets a wristband is included that you must wear to get on the floor along with your ticket. Then there was a specific line for GA that started forming early. Then the doors opened and you were lead to the floor. No rush and very orderly. I did not try ringer up to the front but was probably only 10 rows back from the stage. It was great and all the 10c members were great to be around. You do have to stand through throughout so be prepared. It was an awesome experience and an amazing show.
You will get an email about a week before the show that explains when and where to pick up the tickets at the venue and where the GA line will be.
Awesome, thank you Inside Job In.
Managed to luck out with 1st Choice of Raleigh, NC - GA. Cannot wait for this show! Never done GA before and was wondering how merch worked. Do they do a merch booth outside at any point? Or do I have to make a choice between heading down to the floor right away or grabbing merch once inside then making our way down and hoping the pit hasn't filled too much?
I've been a fan club member for over 20 years and or put in for 8 shows but didn't win one. Luckily my brother won night 2 at MSG which I will be going. But sorry not to win at least one show is BS. In the past I've always won a show at least and to be shutout especially for how long I've been a member, not cool. I'll get my tickets through other channels but seriously to put in for 8 and be shutout, cmon man? I saw someone who put in for 14 and get squat. They need to do a better job.
It's a lottery. I'm not sure how they could "do a better job." Just say thanks for the opportunity to get tix at a great price ahead of time. What other major bands provide that opportunity?

Like others, I've been a member longer than some people here have been alive. Again, I'm shut out and after selecting the "less preferred" reserved option as I did last time I was shut out.
This club is a joke. You don't even need to be a member to buy the always-a-year-behind FC single. What reason is there to even belong to this damned club? I would think Pearl Jam as a band would not like seeing club members get shut out and forced to use general sale avenues.
I barely post here, but I guess that goes with the theme of how often I'm able to see the band play live now thanks to an arcane club. At least one thing remains constant: the people who run the club are completely out of touch with the fans.

Thanks for the tip! I've already bought plane tickets and hotel in Chicago and planning on seeing both Wrigley shows. Definitely would prefer GA for at least one of them but I know both shows will have a low percentage for GA and I don't want to be shut out for putting both GA's at the top. What to do.....

So I notice if you go on ticketmaster and look at the Kentucky show it is the only one titled "An evening with pearl jam". All the rest just say pearl jam. Also the seat map is interesting they are only using half the stadium!! See ya at Rupp arena!! This show is gonna be a good one I can feel it!!! Show number 30 for me!!!

For each show, they randomly draw names from all the people that made that show their first choice. If there are still tickets left, they draw names from all the people that made it their second choice. I am guessing that with such low odds on the NY and Philly shows that the only way to win one of those was for it to be your first choice. If your first 8 choices were all the Philly and NY, your only real chance was winning your first choice. Then for choices 9-n, the only chance you have is when everyone else with choices 1-8 has already gotten their ticket. Maybe it isn't 10C that needs to do a better job, but rather you need to do a better job at selecting which shows you want to see.

That's what I was thinking also. The odds could only apply to your first choice. I will think that's the case unless someone can explain otherwise... Btw- i'm pleased with the results and feel like the 10 club does a great job. I agree with someone earlier who said at the end of the day this is still one of the most fan oriented/friendly bands ever. 40 bucks a year is chicken feed. Not even a dinner for two.
I've been a little troll since last night. And refreshing my email n whatnot for most of the night and I stated to feel like I made a big mistake. People putting in for 5 plus shows. Winning all of em. Some for 10 plus, not winning them. So me and my one choice felt like we were fucked. Do you guys always put in for more than one?

I put in Toronto reserved 1st Greenville GA 2nd Greenville reserve 3rd
I got Toronto reserved and Greenville reserve. My very first choice would have been Toronto GA except I figured with the odds and my seniority I wouldn't have a chance. So I sacrificed that and made my true second option my first. All I know is it worked and I am very grateful. I feel for everyone of you that didn't win something.
Senority doesn't have any baring on getting drawn right? Just once your name is drawn, and they choose seats for reserved after that.. Does seniority matter at all if you win GA? Is their rules in the pit!!!?
Seniority doesn't matter for winning any type of show GA or reserved and the only rules in the PIT are to be nice to your fellow 10c'ers. Seniority only comes into play when making seat assignments for those who won reserved seats. The higher the seniority, the better your seats will be.

For the stadium shows, once the 10c is offering tickets, do you think you'd have better odds requesting GA or reserved?
For wrigley in 2013 your odds were way WAY better for reserved. That's why I didn't even bother putting in for GA. Yes I won reserved seats. I always play the odds. Some people only put in for GA as their top few choices and then complain when they don't win. It's basic economics. Supply and demand. That's why the percent chances are made available to us. To help us make our choices. Yet people still ignore it or they don't understand supply and demand. If they are willing to gamble then they shouldn't be shocked and angry when they lose. It's a lottery. So in other words don't make GA your #1 choice when the time comes. Good luck!
