Just take my damn money already and add these shows!!!

I think there's a good chance, end of the tour and the venue is open on both sides of the first date, seems pretty easy to tack a second Toronto date on.

honestly im shocked they did not add a 2nd date right away, they have not been in toronto since 2011, i think maybe they went to molson amp once in summer but that dont really count, i mean the air canada center downtown they always seem to go to. it seems too for the longest while now toronto always gets 2 shows. for many tours now 2011, 2006, the may time they went the other time etc. what i find maybe even weirder is why is there no montreal show this time, they never skip montreal before. i would go to montreal show, but im not going to quebec city no way
I wouldn't say they skipped montreal.Rather they chose to not play there. Traffic and infrastructure is horrible and not welcoming. Quebec is a beautiful city.
Maybe if it's a complete sellout fast they might add a second night. There could very well be a valid reason why they didn't go with two nights. Whatever the reason...it sucks! And it really sucks Buffalo got totally scrapped. :(

I can't believe they'd be keeping the building open for the Leafs at that point of the hockey schedule, lol. Fingers crossed on a second show here, as it's either Toronto or possibly Ottawa for me, lol.
"The world is full of idiots and I am but one of them."
10-30-1991 Toronto, Toronto 1 & 2 2016, Toronto 2022
I'm wondering if the second show may have been scrapped to keep the hunger there. There is/was talk of them returning in the summer for a show in Oro Medonte (north of Toronto). 60000 capacity.
uhhhhh fingers crossed, but this time they should "warn" us about a extra concert, they didn't the last time they went to Amsterdam, it just went on sale
Burn my eyes and try to blind me
Bury me so they won't find me
Try to suck my power empty
Got no crown of thorns on me
If Ottawa sells out then MAYBE they add another Toronto show. Otherwise, I think we're going to have to live with one.
BTW: Initially I thought a single show was done due to potential conflicts with the Raptors schedule. However, I'm not sure f that's the case as MSG is having two shows (yes, I know NYC is much bigger than T.O.) and it's quite likely that both the Rangers and Knicks will be playing in the postseason.
An additional show in "The Hammer" would be great but that venue (Copps) is only about half the size of the ACC.
They played the Copps in 2011, would be nice if they play there again

You are way off. Capacity (for hockey) at Copps is 17,383 and Toronto is 19,800. So Hamilton is 88% the size of the ACC.
My mistake. I had no idea that it was that big. I assumed it was about the same size as the area in London. I've been there a few times - even saw Weezer there many years ago - but never thought it was as big as a "regular" arena. Maybe I had had too much to drink!
You know, they should really give Hamilton an NHL team....

Maybe you got confused because it is about 50% as nice as the ACC.. And that's probably being generous

Haha! Again, the drinking...I shouldn't be too harsh on the arena and the city, As a matter of fact, I was in Hamilton just yesterday...not for very long but I was there.

Indeed. And there's no doubt about it that the Leafs won't make it in the playoffs so the ACC has LOTS of free day's off.
Toronto got two shows in 2006 and 2011. None "sold out," but in all four instances the only unsold seats were behind the stage in the 300 level. Pearl Jam loves it here. I'll be surprised if there isn't a rollover...
...and while we're talking about it, has anyone else heard the Pearl Jam/Osheaga rumour?

I doubt Osheaga fits. It's the same weekend Pearl Jam is playing Friday/Sunday at Fenway and Pearl Jam hasn't played three nights in a row since 2005. No way they do Friday at Fenway, Saturday in Montreal, then back to Fenway on Sunday.

Trying to get a beer in Hamilton at the arena is INSANE. Last time I was there it took 6 or 7 songs. No more Hamilton beer crisis for me if they ever play there again I'm sneaking in a flask!
Normal time frame to get a beer anywhere else is the first part of evenflow and I make it back double fisted sippin just in time for the solo.

Actually, oshega is the weekend before Fenway! (July 30-Aug 2). Would explain why they are 't playing Montreal. Also with Radiohead apparently "confirmed" as well, it would be a pretty incredible pre-Fenway weekend!
Fenway will be our second trip east this summer, having Oshega to add in there would be icing on the cake!!!
