Vic theatre is my fave, but I actually like them all. Not sure why people are so down on Vault 4 btw. I really like it. I like that Eddie is so pissy at that show, lol. And I love that Binaural is played in its entirety for the first and last time (out of order).

I'm pretty sure it's missing 3 songs from Binaural

    Sleight Of Hand
    Rival
    Parting Ways

close enough though, and I really like the release

Its a good show, but not alot of standouts beyond the encore, that version of Deep has the best screaming ive ever heard though in its history

Oh yeah, you're right (know what's weird? That 10C actually specifically pointed out that the whole album was played at this show when they announced the Vault release... I guess that stuck with me).

The Vic is really great. I'd love to have it on vinyl, though. My wife and I were at the show and Eddie did a great "opening act" set that was really, really good. I'd love to see that set make it onto an official release.

For sure! I am really really hoping 10C decides to give us Vaults 1 and 2 on vinyl! The set feels so incomplete without them, and I want to hear them on my system instead of on my mp3 player.

I don't see why they can't do both at the same time. They already have the recordings and the style and everything worked out for the Vaults. They'd just have to do a presale and send the files over to the manufacturer.

For me, nothing tops the show at the Vic for a Vault release. Wish they would release it on vinyl.

That Vic show had a feel and sound similiar to the Benaroya Hall show.

Strictly speaking of the tonal quality of PJ'S instruments, I think 92-94 gave us the best sounding live shows.

Disagree. Dave had a horrible drum sound live. Really trashy, too tight and the overuse of cymbals just hurts ears. Good drummer, horrible sound. Jack and Matt have a much smoother more natural sound.
omg, I'm not the only one who cringes a little when listening to Dave! Some great, great fun energy in that era though.

Love the avatar. Wore the shirt with that poster on it until it fell apart. My second show was night 1.

i think because the shows were fundraisers for PACs or something. i don't remember if it was on 10C radio with Tim B or one of the ask us whatever threads, but there was definitely discussion about this in the past.

what I like the most about old boots is the songs played before their album release...
