2016 PJ25 Tour Rumors

exactly. if you want to make the sacrifices necessary to wait on a line for hours, you deserve the best spots on the floor. if you don't, you don't.SVRDhand13 said:The perfect system is to abolish both the list and the ability to hold a spot for friends. In my opinion, you're there or you're not.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam0 -

The ideal.thing would be for the club to control this if they insist on GA. Until the club handles it, it will be different sensibilities of whats "fair" and what isnt. Give a random number with the wrist band and people can line up at a specified time around when doors open. There has to be other bands who have conquered this issue by now.SVRDhand13 said:

Want to be in line- stay in line!!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
you mean i can't have my name jotted down in a notebook, go have a nice dinner, then come back 10 minutes before doors open and expect the seas to part for me?
that's an outrage!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is unfair to go on a list and be able to disappear for a long period of time, I get that. What I think is also equally unfair or worse is when you don't have a list, and when you have a group of people and one person holding the line and they all join them after you have arrived, and they all go in before you!
A numbered list helps prevent that from happening. Neither system is perfect, they each have flaws and a subjective nature to them. When people are sleeping out more than 24hrs in advance you would guess going to take a piss should be permissible, but going back to your hotel for a 4 hour nap should not. How about making a food run?
What are the rules? There aren't any I know of...If anybody has a list of the "Pearl Jam GA Line waiting" rule etiquette they want to share, and have all agreed upon sanctioned by the band I am not aware of it.www.twitter.com/robert_harbin0 -
I'm all for that! But we are out numbered and to hear it told these days, PJ never had great crowds till they brought back GA.mcgruff10 said:www.twitter.com/robert_harbin0 -

I happen to love GA. The energy is amazing in the "pit". I get in line about an hour before the show, grab a beer and still end up 5-9 back on mikes side. No pushing or shoving, just rockin out with fellow fans. Hope they never get rid of GA.0

I've also heard a couple things about PJ at the Schott. Still a maybe, but if PJ plays Columbus, it'll likely be there over Nationwide from what I've heardPost edited by Weston1283 on2010: Cleveland

They won't. Been a huge membership $ boon. I just remember they didn't do GA for years because of safety.jmug23 said:I happen to love GA. The energy is amazing in the "pit". Any idea why? They've played Nationwide, a superior venue IMO, in the past. Surely it can't be CBJ playoff hopes. Either way, I'd take it!

Ohio State now manages BOTH facilities in Columbus...and try to spread the shows around.
That's also why we are seeing more shows scheduled at The Shoe now...I've heard they are trying to book U2 there this year!!'96: Seattle: Key Arena

OMG 120 pages of painful bollocks, piss myself if they announce they are taking a break to record a new album......like it was mentioned. I want them to tour, but 120 pages and it just a bunch of made up dates........seriously......London, England 06-25-2010, Belfast, Northern Ireland 06-23-2010, Berlin, Germany 07-04-2012, Manchester, UK 06-20-2012, Seattle, WA 12-06-2013, Amsterdam, Holland 06-16-2014, Berlin, Germany 06-26-2014, Leeds, UK 07-08-2014, Milton Keynes, UK 07-11-2014, New York MSG 1 & 2

I love when people get mad because there is a discussion thread on a message board
lol0 -
What tix site does MSG use? I hate the Wells Fargo comcast site0
-
its not really people getting mad, but this thread has turned into literally the same 3 or 4 conversations being had over and over again, and in all that, maybe 2 pages worth of total posts that are actually useful.my2hands said:I love when people get mad because there is a discussion thread on a message board
